I am concerned about a potential scam regarding a vehicle listing claiming to be on eBay. The seller does not provide a listing, item number, or any verifiable information. The story about the low price due to a tragedy and the promise of escrow by eBay seems suspicious. They mention eBay will contact me, but I am uncertain if eBay operates in such a manner. The lack of buyer protection for eBay Motors raises red flags. I need clarification on the legitimacy of this situation. If anyone has experienced something similar, please share your insights. Thank you. - L.

I purchased a vehicle through a Craigslist listing and paid $[redacted].00 via PayPal cash cards. I also sent photos of the pin numbers to eBay Motors and paid an additional $[redacted] using the same method for vehicle insurance. This was completed on Fri, Oct 16/15, and I have confirmation emails from eBay confirming the payments. However, I have not received any information regarding the delivery date and time of the vehicle. I was informed that verification takes 4-8 hours, but I am unsure if this includes weekends as well, especially Sat and Sun.

On October 22nd, I purchased 4 items from a seller without a PayPal account on eBay. During checkout, I was prompted to change my shipping address and contact the seller, which I did. When trying to pay with my credit card, I was mistakenly informed that the card was expired. The seller continued to send me invoices and threatened to open cases against me. Despite my repeated attempts to pay, I was unable to do so as the checkout process kept failing. To my surprise, the seller charged my credit card three times the correct amount. Even after providing proof of my payments, the seller claimed I hadn't paid and falsely stated my card was declined 6 times. Today, the seller opened non-payment cases for all four items but removed the option for me to contact him. Due to my hearing impairment, I can't reach out to the seller through the resolution center or contact eBay by phone. I urgently need to inform eBay about the seller's excessive charges and the wrongful cases opened against me.

I was bidding on a Szonyi painting from seller lipitibi1111 and was winning for days. Right before the end, I tried to raise my maximum bid but received a message that the seller decided to exclude me from bidding in the last 5 minutes. I have only positive feedback and no prior contact with this seller, so I do not agree with this discriminatory action. I reached out to the seller immediately but have not received a response yet. How can eBay allow this kind of discrimination to happen? Afterwards, I received a message saying I was outbid.

It has been a few months since I last used my eBay seller account. However, a while back, eBay locked my seller account citing that I had reached my selling limits, even though I hadn't listed any items. I decided to take a break and returned recently to start selling again, only to find that I am still unable to list any items due to supposedly being over my limits. It's perplexing as I have not made any sales in the past three months and have not listed any new items. I am puzzled by this situation and unsure how to resolve it so I can start selling on eBay again.

I sold two items on eBay, a vintage billiard table lamp and a Neat Desk, and eBay refunded two separate buyers on my behalf with the agreement that I would receive the items back. Sadly, I have not received either item yet. The first buyer did not return the lamp valued at around $[redacted], and the second buyer had the Neat Desk delivered to the wrong address. I am puzzled as to why the items have not been returned to me by now. As a result, I am at a loss financially and have lost both the items and the money. If this issue is not rectified promptly, I may have to escalate it by reaching out to the Better Business Bureau.

I encountered a situation where a buyer did not pay for an item despite giving them time and reminders. I opened a case in the resolution center to request a final value fee credit, but mistakenly marked the item as received when I hadn't actually received the payment. As a result, the case was closed, and I did not get the fee credit. What should I do now? I accidentally clicked the wrong option and need assistance in resolving this error.

I've been trying to open a dispute in the Resolution Center as I never received my item. I can't contact the seller because there seems to be a problem with the item number. eBay also doesn't recognize the item number. I paid $[redacted] for this item that I need before Christmas, but the system won't recognize the item number for me to request a refund. It's frustrating not being able to resolve this issue after the item's arrival date has passed. What should I do now?

I am experiencing issues on the website that prevent me from bidding on items or paying for auctions. When I try to do so, an 'Attention Buyer' prompt appears, requiring me to verify my humanity through a phone call and PIN number. However, clicking to receive the call results in an error message with no progress. Despite contacting Ebay and speaking with their account specialists, the problem remains unresolved. The suggested solutions of clearing my browser, switching browsers or devices, and waiting have not been effective. This issue is affecting my sales as well, creating a significant concern since I rely on Ebay for my business. I have been searching for ways to access their technical support for assistance and came across GetHuman in my search.

I kindly request that eBay immediately cease the sale of Paiute items. Concerns arise regarding the origins of some items potentially coming from the Maluhr Refuge near Burns, Oregon. The refuge has faced challenges from individuals who have closed it off, demanding control of National Park lands. This group, often referred to as a "militia," has reportedly accessed Native Paiute ancestral artifacts stored within the refuge. If these artifacts are being sold on eBay, the platform bears responsibility for the possible harm to Paiute heritage. I urge eBay to halt the sale of these items until verifying they have not been unlawfully obtained from the refuge.

I haven't accessed my account in about two years, as I rarely used it. Today, when I tried to log in, I was surprised to see a notification saying my account was suspended for allegedly violating site policies. I am unsure when or how this violation occurred, and now I can't reach out to resolve the issue. Recently, I also received an email inviting me to join a lawsuit against the company, shedding light on the reasons for the legal action. I now feel inclined to participate in the lawsuit.

I need help updating my listing currency on Ebay from GBP to USD to prevent double conversion as my Paypal is in USD. Also, I want to adjust my selling limits. Currently, I can only list 10 items or [redacted] GBP, but I have 8 high-quality collector's items I want to sell together due to their rarity. Unfortunately, my account only allows one item at a time. Thank you for your assistance in advance.

I am a seller from 'indiaquilt' store. A customer purchased 2 skirts, labeled as 4XL (26w) with specific measurements. The Indian sizing was different from US sizing, causing some confusion. The customer requested a return, claiming the size was incorrect as the tag read 3x. I explained the measurements were accurate and urged them to measure for confirmation, but they insisted on a return without allowing for further assistance. They left negative feedback prematurely. eBay will intervene soon. The feedback misrepresents the situation, and I am willing to help with the return process per the clear return policy outlined in the listing. I ask for the feedback to be revised to reflect the accurate details of the transaction. Photographic evidence of the waist measurement would confirm they received the correct item. The customer may return the skirts as per the policy, but return shipping is their responsibility. I seek support in resolving this issue. Appreciate your assistance.

I bought a flashlight advertised as lumens in the title but stated as lumens in the description. I reached out to the seller (uslight) and was informed it was lumens. Despite promises to correct it, the listing remains inaccurate. I ordered flashlights between Feb and March , totaling . On Feb , uslight confirmed it was actually lumens and agreed to update the listings. Despite ongoing messages, the inaccurate information persists. I plan to use the flashlights but hope eBay can address this issue to prevent misleading claims. Navigating eBay's contact process has been challenging, with no results. I simply seek accuracy from the seller to prevent future misunderstandings. If no resolution is reached, leaving negative feedback seems to be the only option.

I need assistance closing my account promptly due to fraudulent activity. I have successfully completed a transaction on the platform, but unfortunately, my account has been compromised. Someone has used my credit card, which I have already blocked, to try to sell fake items. Fortunately, no unauthorized transactions occurred, and my bank has also taken action. I am currently in communication with the buyer of my item through phone and email. Please, contact me at your earliest convenience to assist in closing my account and securing all associated information. Thank you, Alfredo

Hello, I received incorrect information from eBay, resulting in multiple calls to eBay and PayPal. After days of back-and-forth calls, the problem is finally resolved. Throughout this ordeal, I felt frustrated and even shed tears. Regrettably, I neglected my lovely baby as she cried for the entire duration. I am not looking for compensation for the stress or its impact on my daughter, but I am requesting reimbursement for the hours spent on calls at £.

I've contacted eBay three times in the past 1.5 weeks regarding an issue where I receive an error message when trying to make a purchase or increase my bid. The message prompts me to pay for committed items before proceeding. Despite my immediate payment history, various representatives were unable to resolve the problem, leaving me unable to bid on a coveted item for my grandmother. I desperately need assistance as this recurring problem has caused me to miss out on important purchases. Please advise on how to rectify this before I encounter further setbacks. Thank you, B. M. I recently sold a Glashutte watch on eBay. The customer was dissatisfied and I offered a $[redacted] partial refund, but did not receive a response. I ended up refunding the full amount plus $50 for shipping through PayPal instead of following eBay's procedure. Now I need eBay to close the case to avoid a $[redacted] fee. I refunded the customer to resolve the issue, and I now have my watch back. The eBay transaction ID for the item is [redacted]14.

I bought an item on September 13, [redacted], with a one-year warranty. The seller was responsive and friendly in our eBay messages, confirming the warranty. Unfortunately, the hearing aid stopped working in March [redacted]. Despite reaching out twice through eBay messages, I noticed a notice saying I couldn't contact the seller 60 days after the transaction. I have the seller's address but can't update them on the return shipping. How can eBay be contacted to enable communication with the seller?
