Dear Concerned Party, I placed an Uber Eats order for McDonald's yesterday totaling £17.24. Unfortunately, upon arrival, my order was cold and stale, rendering it inedible. Additionally, the delivery driver was lost, further delaying the already compromised order. Despite my attempts to call and the £3.79 compensation provided by Uber Eats through the app, I find this resolution inadequate. I insist on a full refund of £17.24 as the entire meal, delivery, and service charge were unsatisfactory. The chips were stale, the Halloumi fries were soggy, and essential items like straws for my milkshake were missing. Being compensated £3.79 for a meal I couldn't consume feels unjust. I request the full amount be refunded to my original payment method, not as Uber Cash. I have lost faith in Uber Eats and will not use their services further if this issue is not rectified promptly. I placed an order tonight, September 10th, [redacted], at 5:40 p.m. from Montana's using UberEats. The payment was made via credit card. The process was very easy; I did the same yesterday with an order from Jack Astor's without any issues. However, with the Montana's order, something went very wrong. After placing the order, I received a message from my credit card company that the Montana's purchase was pending, which was the same process as the previous evening. When I arrived at the restaurant for my scheduled pickup time of 6-6:30 p.m., I was surprised to hear that they did not have my order. Two employees checked my phone where the order was placed but couldn't figure out the problem. They offered to ring up the order at the restaurant, but the price was double because the 2-for-1 order was only available through UberEats. This left me with the option of paying double, which was not feasible at that point. I left the restaurant without any food and had to make other dinner arrangements after spending 2 hours without receiving anything from UberEats. I need assurance that I will not be charged for this service as the charge is still pending, along with the order from the previous night. Regards, Clayton J.

Could you please update the app so when I place an order and it shows "waiting," it means a driver has confirmed it? Currently, my order is 30 minutes late, and while I keep receiving revised delivery times, there is no confirmation that a driver has accepted it. I suggest that once the order status changes to "placed," it signifies a driver has accepted it. I appreciate the $10 coupon for the delay, but going forward, I would like confirmation of a driver's acceptance before order confirmation. If my order isn't delivered by 5:15, I request a full refund as I need to retire. Providing estimated delivery times without a confirmed driver availability causes unnecessary waiting. I understand it's late, but receiving unconfirmed delivery times is frustrating.

Yesterday, I placed an Uber Eats order from a restaurant with multiple locations, inadvertently selecting one over an hour away. Unfortunately, the prompt to cancel disappeared quickly, hindering my ability to correct the error in time. I contacted the restaurant before the order was accepted to cancel with no charge, but I was still billed my Uber Eats gift card and my Mastercard for $25.83. Despite being assured the order was not accepted, I was charged the full amount. I find it disappointing that Uber Eats representatives were not truthful about the status of the order. The restaurant confirmed they had not accepted the order, leaving me frustrated with the service. I hope for a resolution as I feel unfairly treated and inconvenienced by this situation.

I have encountered difficulty with the sales tax calculations provided by the Future Foods service. Each month, I face inconsistency in the taxes withheld or to be paid for transactions in Greenville County, SC - 6% to the county and 2% to the city, totaling 8%. Despite the lack of exemptions, the tax calculations vary within the reports for Uber Eats transactions, leading to discrepancies. This poses a problem as I'm required to report accurate sales figures online to the county and city authorities. I am compelled to adjust my sales to account for the differing tax amounts passed on for direct payment. To address this issue, I have paused sales through Future Foods until a resolution is reached. My Account Executive at Future Foods was unable to provide a clear explanation or solution to these inconsistencies; hence, I am reaching out to you for assistance. I faced delivery issues with my recent order. Even though the app showed the order as delivered, I never received it. The delivery driver was unresponsive, making it difficult to resolve the problem. This has caused me great dissatisfaction with Uber Eats, to the point where I am contemplating closing my account. Unlike other food delivery services that bring items to my door, Uber drivers often require additional direction and still have trouble finding the location. I appreciate the support team promising a refund, but addressing the inconsistent service provided by some drivers is crucial.

Uber Eats drivers frequently fail to double-check my orders, leading to missing drinks or items. Although I report these issues to Uber, they typically provide only small refunds. Lately, my drink has been missing in several orders. When I contacted Uber Eats to request a refund, they refused, claiming there have been too many complaints on my account. It's frustrating that despite the errors made by drivers and restaurants, I am being denied refunds due to the number of complaints on my account. This policy is unfair as I am paying for products that I never receive.

I paid a total of fourteen pounds for an order of two Sausage and Egg McMuffin meals with extra bacon. However, I only received one Sausage Egg McMuffin with bacon instead of two, one Sausage Egg McMuffin without bacon, one Hash brown instead of two, and one Tropicana Orange Juice instead of two. Despite these errors, Uber's response was that they couldn't provide a refund. They mentioned, "We've taken a look into your order and the concerns you've raised and unfortunately, we will be unable to provide a refund on this occasion. While we appreciate this wasn't the experience you were looking for, we hope you understand our decision." I find this response unacceptable and do not agree with their decision.

I placed an order on the MyMcDonald's app for McDelivery, which is powered by Uber Eats. The driver marked the order as delivered, but it never arrived. I tried contacting Uber Eats for over an hour with no response. On September 12th, I placed an order with Sainsbury's through the UberEats app totaling around £27. Upon receiving my order, I discovered several items were missing, and I only received 5 items worth £7. I reached out to Uber Eats the following day, but was unable to find a contact number, only a messaging system. After messaging them requesting a £20 refund for the missing items, they denied my request, claiming it was past 48 hours, even though it had only been approximately 12 hours. I am seeking a refund of £20 for the undelivered groceries and would appreciate a phone number to directly address this matter with Uber Eats.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent order from the McDonald’s app. Last night, my order arrived freezing cold and an hour late, with the McFlurry completely melted. Good afternoon, I placed an order with McDonald's today, but one of your drivers did not deliver it as expected. I have attached screenshots of my order placed today that I did not receive. I tried to request a refund on the app, but it only showed an order from September 12th, which couldn't have been me as I was out of the country that day. Hello, I am reaching out about my recent order experience. I placed an order totaling 62 pounds and unfortunately encountered multiple issues. The delivery took an extended two hours to arrive, and upon opening the order, I found that the pizza was severely burnt and likely reheated, rendering it inedible due to the old and solidified cheese. Each pizza and the wings, which were part of a 2-for-1 deal, were priced at 17.99 and of poor quality. Additionally, the coke was missing, one milkshake was melted and tasted odd, while the whole order did not meet expectations. The only satisfactory item was a milkshake. I am requesting a full refund, excluding the milkshake that was enjoyable and the delivery fee. Despite attempts to contact the restaurant, the delay was frustrating, with the order arriving significantly late at 11:29 instead of the expected 10:15-10:30 timeframe. I would like to file a formal complaint regarding an order I placed on September 17th around 7:55 pm. The driver changed three times, causing significant delays. Despite my attempts to contact the restaurant, McDonald's, for an update on my order, I received no response. I reached out to the second driver via text, but was ignored until I messaged the third driver, who replied they were busy. My mother's order was missing several items, including cod fillets, fish fingers, and mince meat with no replacements. Likewise, my own order was missing a loaf of bread, strawberries, mushrooms, and a pot noodle without any replacements. I ordered items through Uber for over £40. Initially, the app showed the driver was on the way, but within 5 minutes, it suddenly marked the order as "delivered." Unfortunately, I didn't hear a knock, receive a call, or find any bags at my door. I searched around, even checked neighboring addresses, but found nothing. The app claims I received the order, but I did not. I called the store, and they confirmed the order was not returned and had left the store 30 minutes prior. I reached out to Uber for help, but haven't received a response. This experience has made me reluctant to use Uber again.

Hello, I placed an order this morning at "Love Pizza" before work. I waited 40 minutes, which was the initial wait time. However, after 1 hour and 20 minutes, I had to cancel the order because I work overnight, and I couldn't wait any longer. Uber Eats changed delivery drivers three times because they were not picking up the order. It was unacceptable. I was charged 20.59€ for waiting 1h20 instead of 40 minutes. I spoke with Uber support, and each time they said to wait another 15 minutes for a refund – 40 minutes + 15 minutes + another 15 minutes, and then I had enough. Either deliver properly or shut down the app. I have been a customer for years without any issues, but this time was a disaster. I didn't even get to eat before work because of your failure. About a week ago, I placed an order at Korean Chicken for a bolognese and a drink for $24.65. Unfortunately, I encountered some issues with my order. Initially, I reported a missing item and received a partial refund of $6.82. However, upon further inspection, I discovered that I had received the entirely wrong order and should have been refunded the remaining $17.83 for the incorrect food. Furthermore, I did not receive a physical receipt during that visit, but I can supply my digital receipt from the app and provide details of the order I received that day.

I ordered items amounting to €64.95, but the delivery never arrived. I called the restaurant due to the delay, and they claimed the order was delivered even though the app didn't show it. No one rang the doorbell or tried to contact me. I left a message on the Uber Eats app, but they said the delivery was completed and denied a refund, despite no attempt to reach me.
