Hello, I reached out a couple of months ago following my husband's passing to update our TalkTalk account to my name. Despite multiple requests for the change, my account still greets me as 'Alan.' About four weeks ago, I contacted customer service and was advised to create a new account. During this call, I aimed to simplify my services and lower costs, with a promised monthly bill of £33. However, my recent bill exceeded this amount, despite a payment of over £[redacted] made shortly before. Due to ongoing discrepancies and dissatisfaction with TalkTalk, I've decided to terminate my services and switch to another provider. As a new account was established, I understand there is a 30-day grace period to cancel without penalty. Please take this email as my formal notice to end the contract, enabling me to proceed with an alternate service. Kindly confirm this cancellation promptly via written communication. Thank you, L. E.

I am reaching out regarding my long-time friend from the 1960s at Birmingham University, Martin Jenkins. Since we both lived in London, we have kept in touch via email yearly. However, I have not heard back from him since December [redacted]. Concerned about his well-being, I tried contacting him at his London address and phone number, but the landline is not in use. Martin, who is not keen on modern technology, has an email with Tiscali. I would appreciate any help in checking if he is okay or if there are updates on his well-being. Thank you. Roger Wisdom

I have contacted support and they have run various checks confirming no issues. However, I still can't receive a signal on my phone or iPad unless I am right next to the Wi-Fi hub. When I try to log into my Tiscali account, it says "unable to connect." While I'm not tech-savvy, I believe the issue lies with the hub as I can connect at my daughter's place. I'd prefer to resolve this over the phone rather than through emails. Thank you, M P Smith.

Recently, I faced service disruption with Talktalk for several days. Despite suspecting the router as the issue, Talktalk still sent an engineer for assessment. Following unnecessary delays, the engineer validated the router as the problem. After a waiting period for the new router's arrival and the service restoration, upon reviewing my bill, I discovered additional charges for the engineer visit, coupled with a bill increase to £58. To compound matters, the promised service discount for the service disruption was not applied. As essential workers relying on uninterrupted service, unless this issue is promptly addressed and resolved, I will be seeking services from a different provider.

Hello, I've been experiencing ongoing issues with my Wi-Fi service for months now, making it extremely difficult to reach out to you. In my recent attempt to cancel due to the poor service, I was informed about possible consequences like losing my email address and incurring an additional fee. The Wi-Fi at home frequently disconnects, causing disruptions that hinder my work. My phone, iPad, and computer consistently lose internet connection. I am experiencing issues with my tiscali.co.uk email account in Preston area. I can send emails but cannot receive any through my POP3 client today (20/6/23). I have not made any changes on my end, so I suspect that the TT server might be experiencing some problems. The error message I am receiving is (0x800CCC1A) stating that the server does not support the connection encryption type specified. It advises me to try changing the encryption method or contact the mail server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP) for further assistance.

In March [redacted], I signed up for TalkTalk Mail Plus using my [redacted] email address. This email is associated with two other addresses: [redacted] and [redacted] I am trying to reset the password for my [redacted] account linked to Microsoft Outlook, which has been disconnected for several weeks. Despite being able to access the TalkTalk website using [redacted], I am facing issues resetting the My Account password. I have received conflicting responses stating that my email isn't registered or isn't recognized. While the [redacted] and [redacted] accounts work fine with Outlook, the [redacted] account does not connect. I have checked settings and passwords with no discrepancies. I need assistance verifying the username and password for [redacted] in the Outlook Account Information Account/Server Settings for reconnection to MS Outlook.

I am encountering error (0x800CCC0E) preventing me from downloading my Outlook Inbox for [redacted] through the IMAP server.
