I fell victim to a scam where my phone number was removed, and the username and password were changed. The scammers blocked me when I confronted them. There are over [redacted] games on the account, with at least $[redacted] spent on it, and thousands of hours invested since its creation in [redacted]. This account is significant to me, and losing it this way is devastating. I want to retrieve it through the Discord account the scammers used. I am trying to remain calm and handle the situation maturely, even though I feel enraged by what happened.

I recently fell victim to a scam where my phone number was removed, and the scammer changed my username, password, and then blocked me when confronted. The account has approximately **** games, with a minimum of $*** spent on it and countless hours invested since ****. This account means everything to me, and losing it to a scammer has been devastating. I want to avoid getting involved in a situation that could escalate and am trying to remain calm. I discovered the scammer's Discord, and I am hoping that Steam can trace the email they changed it to and help me recover my account. How can I go about making this happen?

I wanted to mention that I never received an email regarding my account's ban or any explanation for the action. Steam has only provided me with an account alert restricting my ability to seek help. My account was flagged for being stolen or involved in "theft" and for violating steam guidelines. Despite this, I have never shared my information with any unauthorized sources and have nurtured this account over the years with loved ones. I sold a trading card on the steam marketplace for $0.04USD on Monday, Feb. 6th at 09:44 am, and there might have been a security alert to google at some point, which I promptly addressed. I am puzzled by the limited options available to address a ban that extends beyond the 10-year mark. I am seeking assistance, and I appreciate your help. Thank you.

I am seeking a refund for Hogwarts Legacy due to significant FPS drops, stuttering, and poor textures affecting my gameplay experience. Despite having a capable computer, adjusting settings like the FPS cap to 30 and graphics to low, the issues persist. I have spent 13 hours on the game, primarily dedicated to troubleshooting and making adjustments to improve performance, leaving only about 2.5 hours of actual gameplay. Unfortunately, I find the game unplayable and have been unsuccessful in obtaining a refund due to the total playtime. I contacted [redacted] on February 6, [redacted], regarding my hacked account. I last accessed my Steam account around March [redacted], and on February 5, [redacted], I downloaded the Steam Application on my Laptop. Despite using my usual login information, I couldn't access my account. The reset password option didn't work, and the account now links to an unfamiliar email address unlike mine, [redacted] I found suspicious emails in my trash folder and realized my account details were changed. I use a Lenovo 81LK laptop for Steam and have various games, including Sea of Thieves, Stardew Valley, Red Dead Redemption 2, Scribble It, etc. I followed up on February 20, [redacted], but couldn't create a ticket on the website due to the altered email address. My friends reported fraudulent activity on my hacked account. I included screenshots of gifted games in my emails for reference. I am desperate to recover my account and can provide additional screenshots upon request.

I am currently trying to regain access to my Steam account. I still have the phone number linked to the account ending in [redacted]. I have received multiple verification codes, but when I enter them, it says the account is locked. It asks me to contact Steam Support to remove the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator. I recently changed from my LG V30 to an iPhone 14 without logging into my Steam authenticator app. Now, when I try to log in to my Steam profile, it says my password is incorrect and I can't access it through recovery because my account is locked. I'm unsure why my account is locked since it has been inactive for months, and this is my first attempt to log in. Any help would be appreciated.

The individuals who accessed my account used various IP addresses. It is crucial for me to regain access as soon as possible. Hello, I recently received a confirmation email regarding a market purchase that I did not make. The email mentioned a purchase of "2 Five-SeveN | Coolant" for [redacted].86 EUR from seller Yaromirfomichev. The current price for one of these items is only 0.04 EUR, and I would never pay 66.04 EUR for it. I suspect that my account has been hacked. I have tried contacting Steam Support by opening tickets, but they keep deleting my submissions without providing any assistance. I find it puzzling that while Steam asks for confirmation via cell phone when selling items, there is no such verification for purchases. I am frustrated that I have been charged [redacted].86 EUR for items I did not buy, and Steam is not responding to my inquiries. I have never made this purchase and would like a refund. Hello, I am currently unable to receive the Steam Guard code due to my hacked email address. In June [redacted], I relocated and changed my bank, losing access to my old account. I no longer possess the previous Steam card as it has been years since I last funded it. My Steam account is under the name "djsenshi19901." I recently entered my credentials on a site called Faze19 approximately two weeks ago. I suspect it was a scam website. Shortly after, I noticed a trade offer from a user named Peruke. He managed to trade away items from my account, including multiple Spectrum 2 Cases, Prisma 2 Cases, and a Desert Eagle | Blue Ply. I did not authorize these trades and believe my account was hacked. I am seeking assistance in retrieving my items.

My Steam account was stolen, and I cannot access it anymore. The hacker has altered the connected email address and perhaps the password as well. Even though I can find my account by searching for the username "timorsim," I am unsure if it's the original one. I have the information about the previous email and password associated with the account. I am willing to provide the old password to assist in recovering my account, as it cannot be misused to compromise my account.

I have been logged out of my Steam account after submitting a ticket as instructed. I provided proof of payment when requested to confirm my identity. I still have my ticket number and screenshots of the conversation within Steam. I am facing difficulty reaching customer service and have sent an email through "gethuman." For the past few days, I've been encountering an issue with the Steam login window, which constantly prompts me to enter both my password and a five-digit code received via email every time I log in. This repetitive process is quite frustrating, especially when I need to switch between multiple accounts quickly while playing certain games. It would be greatly appreciated if the system could remember passwords for each saved Player ID, eliminating the need for constant authentication. I recently purchased Hogwarts Legacy through your platform. Unfortunately, the game keeps crashing, and I have tried multiple troubleshooting methods suggested on your website without success. While attempting different solutions, I exceeded the refund time limit by a few minutes. I have now requested a refund, but one has been denied. I was unable to play the game as it kept turning off right after starting. I had to buy a PlayStation 5 and purchase the game again. I am seeking a full refund as I could not enjoy the game properly.

When I attempt to contact support, I receive a message stating that a confirmation code is being sent to the original email for verification, but I never receive it. Hello, Today, when attempting to access my Steam account, I encountered difficulty signing in. Despite attempting to reset my password using my associated email address, I received an error message indicating the address was unrecognized. I recently attempted to change my password on Steam due to suspicious activity from Leeds, although I don't live anywhere near there. After changing the password, I was logged out on my phone as expected. However, I've been unable to log back in on both my phone and computer using the new password. I keep receiving a message stating that my account is locked due to too many failed login attempts.
