Hello, I traveled with my family from Chicago O’Hare to Hamburg, Germany via Copenhagen on flight SK944 on Wednesday, June 1, arriving in Hamburg on June 2. Unfortunately, our luggage did not arrive with us. We have already filed a report, but we have not received any updates yet. Currently, we have moved on to Vienna where we have accommodations. In the report, we requested that our luggage be sent to our address in Vienna. The file reference number is HAMSK24914, which was submitted on June 2. I kindly request a check on our luggage in Copenhagen using the tag numbers SK667473, SK667465, SK667470, and SK667472 provided in the report. I can be reached on my cell at 1-[redacted] or via email at [redacted] We will be in Vienna until Wednesday morning, and Austrian Airlines has offered to assist in transferring the luggage from Copenhagen to Vienna. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter, looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Hello, My name is Randall Herrera Camacho, and I will be traveling with my wife from Denmark to Oslo on June 19th. I attempted to gather information about entering Oslo and discovered there seem to be no travel restrictions in place. I have a booking reference of 22FVUX. I found a set of steps to follow, but I am unsure how to proceed. Could you please provide me with more detailed information on whether I still need to upload documents or complete forms for entry into Denmark? The links provided on the SAS Airlines website did not allow me to continue, which is why I am seeking clarification. Thank you.

Dear Ms. Julia Thorlacius, Booking Reference: S4VED6 I am writing regarding a travel issue for a 15-year-old traveling to EF Language School in South France. The original flight was scheduled from CPH to Nice on June 26th with a direct flight booked on January 4th. However, we received notice on June 17th of a cancelled flight and the rebooking was done incorrectly to Gothenburg (GOT) on June 27th to CPH on June 28th, with the CPH to Nice flight details missing. After contacting customer service, a new ticket was issued for CHP via Oslo to Nice a day before the originally planned flight. This situation was not ideal, especially for a young traveler flying alone for the first time. Additional costs for food in Oslo and an extra overnight stay in France were incurred. I am requesting reimbursement for the additional expenses totaling [redacted] Euros. Best regards, Barbro via Julia

Hello! We were given two plane tickets (one for my partner for his 50th birthday and I have to pay for mine) from Paris to Oslo with your airline, thinking it would make us happy. However, we won't be able to take this trip. Due to financial reasons, we cannot go because we would need to add a round-trip flight from our home to Paris, rent accommodation, consider renting a car on-site, food, restaurants, sightseeing, and other activities. In France, we never go on vacation because of this, as we don't have any savings that we could use. Our end of the month is very complicated, especially since the war in Ukraine, as we do not have very high salaries, and inflation is hitting us hard. Our E-tickets are: Mr. DEMUMIEUX Régis No. [redacted][redacted] Booking Reference: KENSH8 Mrs. AVEROUS Hélène No. [redacted] Booking Reference: KENSH8 In this email, I am requesting a refund for the Paris (CDG) to Oslo tickets and the return Oslo-Paris ticket, please! Thank you for considering this request. By June 22, [redacted], before the scheduled departure from Paris to Oslo on November 27, I believe you will have easily reassigned our seats! While awaiting your response, please accept, madam, sir, the expression of my best regards. Mrs. AVEROUS Hélène and Mr. DEMUMIEUX Régis

I missed my connecting flight from Arlanda to Manchester on June 22, [redacted], reference no SK2547. Swedish Airport staff informed me that my bags were already sent to Manchester and couldn't be removed due to a short transfer time. I didn't have my baggage reclaim numbers as they were taken with my boarding pass. I couldn't stay at the airport due to visa restrictions and had to travel to Manchester via London Gatwick. Despite opening a PIR report, with no updates, the reference no MANYZ [redacted] was incorrect. The correct reference is MANSK [redacted]. I have contacted Ethiopian Airlines and SAS but have not been able to trace my luggage. Global Baggage Solutions is still working on it. The bags are a purple Cellini bag and a dark grey Tosca bag with a light blue outline. Both have brass locks named ESCAPE and four wheels. I urgently need medication from the bags. Please assist me in locating them.

Subject: Assistance Needed with Lost Luggage - [redacted] Tag Number EI202169 Last Name: Sherry I am writing to report that my luggage, tagged with number EI202169 and last name Sherry, has gone missing during my journey from Orlando airport (MCO) to Copenhagen on June 1, [redacted]. Despite filing a claim with SAS in Copenhagen on June 2, [redacted], my suitcase has yet to be located. This unfortunate situation has caused me significant inconvenience, especially during a 10-day cruise and subsequent travels, where I had to manage without my belongings. While United Airlines has informed me that my bag was found and transferred to MCO airport, the process of retrieving it has proven to be extremely challenging. Despite my efforts to reach out to SAS and United Airlines, I have not had any success in locating and receiving my luggage. I am reaching out for assistance as I have been unable to make progress through the online tracking platform and lengthy phone calls. Any help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

On June 1, [redacted], I checked my luggage with Aer Lingus at the Orlando airport for my trip to Copenhagen. After changing planes in Dublin to SAS, my luggage did not arrive in Copenhagen. I filed a claim with SAS immediately. Despite checking again on June 3, my suitcase had not shown up. Throughout a 10-day cruise, I was without my belongings. Returning to Copenhagen on June 15, I learned my bag was still in Dublin. Even after traveling to Spain and Italy, my luggage remained missing. Finally, on July 5, I was informed by United that my bag was on its way to Orlando airport. However, the company handling the delivery, Bags, Inc, did not have any information on my case on their website, whereismysuitcase.com. Despite various attempts to contact SAS, I have been unable to reach anyone regarding my missing luggage. The customer service numbers have not been helpful, and I am at a loss for what to do next.

On June 1, [redacted], I checked my bags with Aer Lingus at Orlando airport for a trip to Copenhagen. After changing planes in Dublin to SAS, upon arrival in Copenhagen, my luggage was missing. Despite filing a claim with SAS on the same day, my suitcase did not reappear by June 3. Consequently, I had to embark on a 10-day cruise without my belongings. Upon returning to Copenhagen airport on June 15, I learned my luggage was still in Dublin. Despite various travels to Spain and Italy, my bag remained lost. On June 27, departing from Frankfurt back home, my suitcase was still missing. However, on July 5, United Airlines informed me that my bag was en route to Orlando airport for delivery, handled by Bags, Inc. Despite checking their website, no details about my case were available. Despite attempting to contact SAS, their customer service proved unhelpful, offering limited assistance. With the SK number CPHSK74037 and tag number EI202169, I am frustrated by the lack of communication regarding my lost luggage.

On April 25th, I submitted an online claim to SAS for expenses I had due to a 7-day baggage delay. I have a claim ID#. Despite reaching out through several emails and speaking with customer service representative Dimitri in Cyprus 10 days ago, who said he escalated my case, there has been no progress. My baggage was delayed for 7 days, and I had to purchase essential items amounting to $[redacted]. I provided all necessary documentation on their online form, but I have not received any response, reimbursement, or update on my claim. It has been challenging to reach them by phone, and the specific department that handles these issues seems elusive. Many others seem to have the same issue of not being reimbursed for essential items purchased during baggage delays.

We had booked a flight from Berlin to Toronto with SAS for today, 14.07.22. However, two of our flights were canceled due to a pilot strike. Despite contacting the travel agency, travelstart, ahead of time, they were unable to rebook our flight initially as it showed as scheduled on their end. After the flight cancellation, we were directed to contact SAS to rebook. After a lengthy wait with SAS, we were informed to go back to travelstart for rebooking. This back and forth has left us in queues for hours with no resolution in sight. This has been a frustrating experience, with us spending our entire day waiting on hold and unsure if our issue will be resolved.

Subject: URGENT - Flight Rescheduling Request Hello, I urgently need assistance with the flight booking referenced as MSN88G. Our itinerary included a connecting flight on August 12 from Reykjavik (KEF) to Split (SPU) via Oslo. However, we received an email on June 2 stating that the flight has been rescheduled to August 13, conflicting with our travel plans. We are scheduled to join a group trip departing from Split on the morning of August 13. Upon checking the SAS website, I found at least three suitable options for the original travel date of August 12 from KEF to SPU, including the initial flight via Oslo. It seems there may have been an error in changing our itinerary. Could you please rearrange our flight for August 12, ideally through Oslo with a departure time of 11:30 from KEF and arrival at 20:15 in SPU as originally planned? We are looking forward to your prompt response. Thank you, S.K.

Good morning, I waited over 40 minutes to speak with an operator. I needed to change my reservation due to a sudden impossibility to travel. After providing the new dates to the agent, we selected return flights and I received emails with a payment link valid for 2 hours. Unfortunately, when I tried to make the payment using different credit cards, including my husband's, none were accepted. The error message displayed: "the payment has been rejected by our payment partner. Please try again or provide another method of payment." I contacted customer service, but they insisted the issue was with the credit cards. Despite multiple attempts, the payment could not be processed. The booking shows the new dates, but it states: "We're still processing your booking and you'll get your e-ticket soon." How can I successfully make the payment and receive the tickets with the new date? Please provide instructions promptly. Thank you. Reservation number: K5C9UG

I'm experiencing an issue with my SAS flight booking made through Tripmonster for a trip on August 15th. The flight is from Gdansk-GDA to Reykjavik/Keflavik-KEF with a layover in Copenhagen-CPH. The flight details are SK [redacted] departing GDA at 06:10 and arriving at CPH at 7:10, followed by SK [redacted] departing CPH at 08:30 and arriving at KEF at 9:45. Tripmonster provided me with the tickets and booking reference number: 274SLS for Tomasz Bosak. However, when checking the SAS app on my iPhone or the desktop website, I couldn't find my reservation using the reference number. I encountered the same issue when trying to add my reservation using the reference number. Interestingly, when I asked an Icelandair agent to check, she was able to locate the booking in their system. I would like to understand why the SAS system doesn't recognize my booking reference and what steps I should take to ensure I have the necessary tickets for the flight, either for gate check-in or online check-in. Unfortunately, I'm unable to upload or share my confirmation details due to attachment restrictions. Thank you. Best Regards, Tomasz Bosak.

Hi Gethuman, I am Vibhav Sapineni and I am excited about my upcoming trip from Hyderabad, India to Stockholm on August 21, [redacted]. I have some questions related to student baggage allowances and layovers during my journey. Here are my queries: 1. As an international student enrolling at KTH University in Sweden, I would like to inquire about obtaining extra baggage allowance. I have my admission letter but not the student ID card yet, as we receive it upon reaching the university. Am I eligible for additional check-in baggage due to being a student? 2. I will have a layover at Athens airport when traveling from Gulf Airline to Scandinavian Airline. Will my check-in baggage be transferred by Gulf Airline during this transit? 3. If Gulf Airline transfers my luggage, can I utilize the extra baggage allowance granted under the student discount at Scandinavian Airlines, or do I need to pay separately for that allowance? I appreciate your prompt assistance with my international travel queries. Best regards, S.VIBHAV

I am seeking an update on the current status of my luggage, which was reported damaged upon my arrival at Tromsø Airport in Norway on May 18th. Despite waiting a month during my stay there, no replacement order was issued. The suitcase suffered tearing, a broken zipper, and a cracked handle. I have not received any communication since May and was previously advised it could be fixed within a month. This issue is compounded by a lengthy delay in luggage retrieval after three flights, causing me to be without important medication for my diabetes. I am eager to hear back regarding the progress. Hello! I had an issue at DUS airport today. My booking reference is SJ3AEQ and my flight schedule involved connections. I arrived early but faced chaos due to delays at check-in and security. This caused me to miss my flight, and despite efforts, I couldn't reach anyone for help. SAS customer service directed me back to the airport for assistance. I missed a critical connecting flight, impacting my international travel. SAS suggested options that were not feasible given the circumstances. The lack of support and communication was frustrating. I hope SAS can improve their crisis management and offer better assistance in such situations. I appreciate SAS overall but was disappointed by this experience. Efficient resolution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Yinxi

Hello, I need to report an issue I faced at DUS airport today. My booking reference is SJ3AEQ with a flight schedule of SK [redacted] from DUS to CPH connecting with SK [redacted] from CPH to IAD. Despite arriving 2.5 hours early, the check-in counter opened just 2 hours before the flight, leading to chaos at the security checkpoint with long queues, causing me to miss my flight. The check-in staff couldn't assist in rebooking and suggested calling SAS customer service, which was unavailable until 9 am. Even though most of the issue lies with DUS airport, I expected better assistance from SAS under these circumstances. I am seeking a prompt response and a refund for my flight ticket. Thank you, Yinxi

I reserved a round trip from Edinburgh to Gallivare departing on 01/09/22 and returning on 05/09/22 with Booking reference K6HWBW. The return flight from Gallivare by Nordica, flight number ND811, was delayed causing me to miss my connection in Stockholm for the Edinburgh flight SK2541. After being informed by Nordic staff to wait 3 days for the next flight to Edinburgh, I reached out to SAS. I ended up paying SAS £[redacted] to reroute to Zurich for a connection to Edinburgh. Despite attempting to seek compensation from Nordica to no avail, I was advised to submit a claim to SAS as all flights were booked and paid through them. Although the online claim form does not accommodate the specifics involving the Nordica flight, I believe I am entitled to compensation under EU Regulation EC261/[redacted]. If SAS is unable to handle this matter, kindly provide instructions on how to seek compensation from Nordica since I have not received a response via their general email contact.
