I recently received a bill for Microsoft [redacted] Family, a service I do not use, which charged my boyfriend's checking account since his card information is saved on my phone. I did not authorize recurring payments and the $99 needs to be refunded into his account promptly. Upon checking my account, I found that recurring payment was not set up, so I canceled the subscription that I have no use for and do not recall signing up for. If I did sign up, I did not use his card. Please resolve this issue at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your assistance.

A week ago, when logging into my account with the email address [redacted], I received a message indicating that my password was no longer valid and prompted me to reset it. I did reset it successfully. However, upon signing in with the new password, I noticed my background had changed from Microsoft to Bing. Subsequently, I faced issues using this new password to log in as I was consistently denied access. Despite multiple password resets, I keep encountering the same problem where the password is deemed invalid each time I try to sign in. This has been ongoing for several days with numerous new passwords attempted to no avail, ultimately locking me out of the account. Additionally, I am unable to change the account as it requires verification with the previous password, which it no longer accepts. I urgently require assistance to resolve this matter.

I am experiencing difficulties logging back into my school account and accessing my OneDrive documents. A sign-in prompt appears on my Docs stating, "Sign In Required, We can't upload or download your changes because your cached credentials have expired." However, when I attempt to sign in with my school email, the prompt persists without granting access to my Docs. I need to open these documents on various devices. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Microsoft Office, so please refrain from suggesting that solution.

1. I was interrupted by my grandson while creating a new password for my Hotmail account and now I can't recall it or my old one. My recovery code is misplaced from multiple moves, and I don't have another device to assist in account recovery. 2. In connection to the previous issue, my Authenticator is currently locked. I'm patiently waiting out the 30-day period but I am eager to have the Authenticator unlocked to verify my Hotmail account.

1. I encountered difficulties while changing the password to my Hotmail account, [redacted], resulting in being locked out due to input errors. This also affected my Microsoft Authenticator, preventing me from verifying my identity. I am seeking assistance from Microsoft to unlock the Authenticator as I have misplaced my Recovery Code. Without another authentication device, I am currently unable to access my Hotmail account, which is on a 30-day stand-down period. I am unsure how to track when this stand-down period ends and if my original account will be reinstated. 2. After setting up a temporary email alias, [redacted], it unexpectedly became my primary account on a freshly reset laptop. Subsequently, this account was hacked, with the password and phone number changed, rendering me unable to access it. Despite my attempts to delete this address, it seems to persist. I have taken precautions such as updating all banking details to protect against unauthorized access.

I am experiencing ongoing problems with my Surface Pro X device. Despite opening a case, the issues remain unresolved. I now have four case numbers addressing the same concerns. Unfortunately, the support from Microsoft tech has been subpar, which is surprising given my 35-year history with the company. Case #[redacted] details the following issues: - Quick assist feature is unusable - Defender keeps blocking certain actions repeatedly - Skype account has been blocked twice since October 10th - Diagnostic status indicates Windows update error, although it shows as successfully updated I am concerned that there may be unauthorized software installed on my computer causing these persistent issues.

I created [redacted] over 20 years ago, and someone has hacked it, changing the language to a foreign one. This account was used only for my daughter's iPhone and her Apple ID, which was linked to her debit card. Money has been coming out of her account. The other day, she got logged out and can't access it. This account is old and was never used for email. When opened, I can't recall if I used Beth or Elisabeth and my last name was Dennis. The address associated with it was [redacted] Morgan ln Richfield NC [redacted]. I don't believe I set up security questions. I have the last 4 digits of the credit card linked to this MSN account. The password recovery form is saying there is not enough information. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

My email, [redacted], is currently locked, and this occurred after falling victim to a scam. Despite providing my personal information and receiving a security code, I am still unable to access my email. After being asked for more information via another email, I filled out the form but was unable to submit it. It is frustrating that I, the one who was scammed, am facing such challenges to regain access to my own account while the scammers continue their dishonest activities. I urgently need to recover my email to retrieve important information needed for updating my contact details with my new email address and phone number. Thank you. - CL

Over the weekend, I purchased a new HP All-in-One computer. The store provided tech support to help me install Microsoft Office for Home & Business. Unfortunately, during the setup, my Verizon email address did not transfer correctly, unlike my other email. The Verizon email only shows messages from one month in [redacted]. The store's tech support suggested reaching out to Microsoft for assistance since the email is managed through Outlook. I rely on my Verizon email as my primary address. Can anyone assist me in resolving this issue and recovering my Verizon email on Outlook? Thank you.

I needed to update my security and contact information because I thought someone had accessed my account. I initiated the process, but now realize there was no breach. Unfortunately, I am currently locked out for 30 days. Microsoft has an outdated landline number on file for my account, making it impossible to cancel the request. I am unable to access any information. How can I update my contact phone number to be able to cancel the request?

I have been using Windows 8.1 and a few months back there was an update by Microsoft to my Disk Cleanup tool, which automatically checked the Temporary Files box. Since then, I have been unable to remove these files. The System Update File also does not show any new entries. I require technical support to assist me in resolving this issue. I am 83 years old and do not own a cell phone, so texting is not an option. Please contact me via my landline. Thank you.

I recently received a letter regarding the disconnection of electricity supply at my rental property due to a change of tenancy. To address this, I attempted to contact customer service at UW. After spending 51 minutes on hold, I finally spoke to a representative. Unfortunately, there was a lot of background noise, making it difficult to communicate effectively. The representative took my information and placed me on hold for an additional 30 minutes to check the account, which led me to eventually give up. The music played while on hold was unpleasant, and after nearly 90 minutes of waiting, this has been a disappointing first encounter with UW.

I am currently replacing the hard drive in my HP laptop. I am seeking guidance or a reliable website to help me create a Windows 11 bootable backup. Additionally, I would appreciate instructions for repairing Windows. I have a [redacted] GB external hard drive, a 64 GB thumb drive, and a 14.7 GB DVD-R at my disposal for this task. Thank you for your assistance, looking forward to your advice.

I believe a fraudulent company pretending to be Microsoft gained access to my wife's computer. A notification popped up on her screen posing as Windows Defender, providing a phone number to contact. The individual on the phone was impolite, disrespectful, and did not fix the alleged "network" problem. The number she dialed was [redacted]. Can her computer be trusted now? Could they have inserted a virus during the phone call?

My Outlook account got closed, and I was contacted by a representative to assist in reopening it after it was supposedly requested to be closed by someone else. However, due to a previous scam encounter, I was hesitant to follow the instructions provided. The account belongs to Douglas Osborn, and some important items have been unintentionally deleted that I urgently need. Your support in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I encountered error code 0x800F0922 while attempting to patch a Windows [redacted] server. Despite efforts to remove the staged KB and download the patch directly, the update consistently fails at 99% with an error message prompting the uninstallation of the patch. I am seeking assistance by opening a pay-per-incident ticket, but have been unable to do so as all links and contact numbers lead me to believe I do not have the necessary support, although I do possess a software assurance contract. The agreement number assigned is V[redacted], with a public customer number of 84DFD1AB. Urgent resolution of this issue is required.

I am consistently encountering an issue where my work account keeps getting locked. The IT department states it is not due to the work software but rather Microsoft continuously locking me out. I recently purchased a new laptop seven days ago, transitioning from Windows 10 to Windows 11. I have never experienced this problem prior to the change. This has been going on for three days, with my account being temporarily locked for 24 hours each time. I am able to access my apps for a few hours, then get locked out again. My account is being sent to investigation teams, making me concerned about a potential hack. I noticed an unfamiliar name on my Microsoft Authenticator and Outlook account, prompting me to delete them. I require assistance to resolve this issue swiftly so I can return to work as soon as possible. It is challenging for me to navigate through the steps provided, as they are not user-friendly for individuals with disabilities. I wish there was an option to speak with a support representative directly.

I regularly use Microsoft Solitaire Collection, but lately, I've been experiencing slow load times and glitches in the Daily Event, Daily Challenge, and Daily Mah Jongg games. These delays and hangs in matching tiles or playing cards are frustrating. Occasionally, a strange visual glitch of pink glass or leaves appears in the background before the game stops working. I would appreciate any assistance with resolving these issues. Thank you in advance for your help.

I am concerned that my account may have been compromised. I am unable to access my email at [redacted] Despite repeated attempts to recover it using my recovery key and password, I am stuck in a loop. I receive daily notifications that someone from Russia is attempting to hack my account. When I try to report this activity, the messages bounce back. I only have access to this email on my iPad, not on my phone. Due to being hearing impaired, I am unable to call for help. I have also tried entering codes sent to my husband's email, but this has not resolved the issue. I suspect my Authenticator may have been compromised. I am frustrated with the endless loops and seek guidance on how to address this situation effectively.

I was using the free version of Windows 10, and after my laptop was damaged in a storm, I reloaded Windows 10 from a USB drive. However, during the download process, Windows 10 N was installed instead of my original version, and now I don't have a product key. I need help retrieving or reinstating my product key as my work is dependent on it. I have the Windows 10 files saved on a flash drive, but without the key, I can't activate my account and access my apps.
