My Instagram account is currently blocked. Instagram is requesting verification through an email link, but the issue is that my account is linked to the email [redacted], which I no longer use. I now use [redacted] They also mention verifying through a text message, but when I enter my linked mobile number, Instagram states it doesn't recognize it. It's been 48 hours since the temporary block was supposed to be lifted, and I'm invested in my account, so this situation is concerning. I'm hoping for assistance with this matter. (Apologies for any language errors, English is not my first language, I'm from the Netherlands.)

I am reaching out on behalf of my boyfriend, who recently received a notice stating that his account was temporarily locked due to "suspicious activity" that he was unaware of. To confirm his identity, he was sent a security code to an email address he did not recognize, leading him to believe his account was hacked. I recommended reporting the issue to Instagram for review. Later, we discovered that he mistakenly used his friend's address when he originally created the account 6 years ago. When attempting to sign in again, Instagram now says the username was not found, leading us to believe the account was mistakenly deleted. He is requesting to have the account restored due to a misunderstanding in communication.

I appreciate your assistance. I was logged in until today around 1 p.m. Currently, I am at my parents' place in Bad Tölz, Germany, though I usually reside in Utrecht, Netherlands. Being a musician, I wanted to access zebr, a platform that supports emerging artists and promotes their music. Unfortunately, I forgot my password and needed to reset it. The setback arose as my computer, containing the login details, and the email associated with my account in Utrecht were with my boyfriend as he was editing our music video. Despite him changing the password for me on my computer, I encountered issues while trying to log in. Each time I input the new password, the system requested a code from Instagram sent to my phone number, which I never received. Despite multiple attempts and waiting periods, the code did not come through, and eventually, an error message appeared. I tried logging in from my iPhone 12 Pro, iPad Pro, my mom's MacBook Air, and her phone. My boyfriend used my MacBook Pro, all on Safari. Even on an incognito Safari page on my mom's phone, the issue persisted. This situation is urgent as we have an upcoming music release, and the promotional phase we meticulously planned for months is now at risk due to the login problem. I paid $25 to the video owner via email to assist in regaining access to my Instagram page. However, it has been a week since my page was restored, and it seems they did not contact Instagram. 1. Hello Support Team, I am facing a significant issue. Yesterday, I mistakenly exchanged explicit photos with someone on WhatsApp, thinking it was a girl. It turned out that it was a person from Morocco who added me on Instagram under the profile name "breanna_mauris1." This individual has obtained my contacts and is threatening to share the images with all my followers and subscriptions unless I pay them money. They have given me a deadline until tomorrow at 9:00 CEWT. I would like to know if there is a way to prevent any account from sending explicit messages to my contacts tomorrow at the specified time, even if it's not from the account "breanna_mauris1," to act preemptively. This was my plan, but I am open to any better suggestions if you have them. My account name is "vinzenz_vjd." I am hoping for a prompt response.

I tried to access Instagram but received a message stating my account had been temporarily locked due to suspicious activity. The prompt asks me to confirm ownership through a phone number and email address. The issue is that the phone number listed is outdated, and the email is invalid as it was created when I was younger. Therefore, I am unable to receive a security code to verify my identity. I'm unsure how to proceed in recovering my account as creating a new one is not preferred. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My Instagram account has been temporarily locked due to suspicious activity. Although I know my username and password, I'm unable to access the account as it requires a verification code which is sent to an old email that I no longer have access to. Even though I have my linked phone number, there isn't an option to send the code there. I've noticed others facing a similar issue, with only one person mentioning their account unlocked on its own after some days. I've reached out to Instagram's help center and followed their instructions by changing the password, but the problem persists.

I have been trying to get assistance with a serious issue about an impersonation account named @i_have_no_memes. This account is using my photo and name to message my friends, trying to scam them with an IFC grant scheme. Despite my multiple reports, there has been no response or action taken. I urge you to look into the account's direct messages to verify this scam. While I am not overly concerned about the account being banned, I do need my personal information removed from it. My genuine account is @chase.knutson, and I have made changes to my profile to differentiate it from the impersonating account. It's crucial to address this promptly as it has been going on for 2-3 days with several people already targeted. Your help in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated.

Hello, I am Mohamed Kotb, an Instagram user who needs help with technical issues related to my previous Instagram account. My old phone, which contained my old Instagram account, is no longer functional. I now have a new phone but have been unable to recover my old account. The problem is that I used my old high school email address, which is no longer accessible since it was disabled after I graduated. Consequently, I am unable to receive emails for password resets. Hello, I believe there has been an error in disabling my account. I have followed the recovery process designated for accounts closed for impersonation. I provided my passport with full name and all requested information. However, I did not receive a response to the email address regarding impersonation. I want to emphasize that I have not impersonated anyone, and my account is genuine with my personal photos and friends. Please reinstate my account as I have not breached any Instagram terms. This morning, when I opened Instagram, I received a message stating that my account was compromised for allegedly purchasing followers and likes, which is untrue. Being only 14 years old with no bank account, I have never even considered buying followers. I suspect my account was hacked. I followed the prompts to change my password, but after doing so, it continued to say "wrong password." Even after trying the old password, I was unable to log in. When attempting to reset the password, the link in the text message did not lead anywhere. My Instagram account is valuable to me for supporting friends and entertainment; losing it would be devastating. I am unsure what steps to take next. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I recently launched my business page on Instagram, but I'm facing challenges with promoting my posts. I created a Facebook account to run ads, but encountered restrictions. Seitdem muss ich ständig einen Code eingeben, der per SMS gesendet wird, und bestätigen, dass ich kein Roboter bin. Anfangs war das okay, aber jetzt lädt die App nicht mehr richtig. Der Bildschirm bleibt schwarz mit einem Ladesymbol und es werden keine neuen Beiträge angezeigt. Zudem komme ich nicht mehr in mein privates Konto über die App rein. My account got banned because I posted an IG story speaking my mind. It seems unfair as Instagram does not ban accounts posting nude photos that influence young girls to do the same, possibly attracting predators. It is frustrating that my account was banned for sharing views on sensitive topics like prostitution and cheating while accounts posting harmful content go unchecked. As a public figure, I've invested a lot into building my account. This situation is unsettling.

I am attempting to delete my old Instagram account, but I am unable to access it. It indicates that a confirmation email was sent to a***************[redacted], an email I do not recognize. This is preventing me from deleting the account, and I am unable to change the email as I am unable to access it. I am not bothered about gaining access to the account, I simply want it deleted. If there is a method to identify the actual email associated with it, I am confident I would remember the password. Nevertheless, I have been unsuccessful in finding a solution thus far.
