I believe I encountered a discriminatory situation during a recent cleaning service appointment for my couch and carpet. I paid the advertised price of $[redacted].00 for a couch cleaning and up to [redacted] square feet of carpet cleaning, but the service provider insisted on additional charges "per section" for the couch and also for the carpets, which were only [redacted].5 square feet in total. The service provider abruptly refused to proceed with the cleaning, claiming extra charges due to the couch shape. The interaction became confrontational, with no room for discussion on the pricing discrepancy. I felt the additional charges were unreasonable and the service provider's behavior unwarranted.

I was charged £15 for Odeon tickets without receiving anything. The transaction was a mistake, and after being advised by a colleague that it was processed as a refund, I realized I couldn't make another purchase within the deal limit. I have screenshots as proof. Despite not wanting to proceed with the payment, it went through, and now my bank shows it as pending. I've contacted my bank, but I still want my money returned. The initial £9 has been refunded, and I expect the same for the £15. Thank you.

Hello. I attempted to redeem my Groupon for a fishing trip. Upon contacting the number provided on the Groupon page, their recorded message indicated that the Groupon was valid until August 17th. I followed the instructions given, leaving my information, preferred date, and Voucher number to secure my tickets through their system. Subsequently, I obtained a different number to reach the captain for booking confirmation. However, the captain informed me that there were no available slots for Groupon until September. I felt frustrated because the Groupon usage date had been altered without clear notification on the Groupon page prior to my purchase. Unfortunately, I cannot cancel my recent purchase made on the 10th as I had already viewed the Voucher to provide the Voucher number. This issue lacks transparency and clarity on their part. I recently purchased a lash serum for $37, but an order was placed for over $[redacted] for something I didn't buy about half an hour ago. This has happened before, and previous orders were charged incorrectly. I am still waiting for a refund that should have been processed over 10 days ago. This unauthorized charge has left me in financial distress as I am currently unemployed. If I don't receive a prompt response, I will have to escalate the situation.

I purchased a voucher for afternoon tea and spa for two at Mercure Holland House Hotel on Newport Road in Cardiff in November [redacted]. Due to the COVID-19 lockdown in March [redacted], we were unable to use the voucher. I have not received any communication from Groupon regarding extending the voucher. When I contacted Mercure, they advised me to have the voucher extended and book the experience through Groupon. I have the order number 1[redacted]09-[redacted]. My name is Frieda Van Loo. I'm currently renovating my kitchen and had made reservations at two different restaurants, but encountered issues with both. Regarding reservation "Nanou's" with voucher # [redacted]51, I intended to visit this week but was informed I could only reserve after the 24th. I'm seeking a refund to make alternative arrangements. Concerning reservation "Les Marmites du Monde" with voucher # [redacted]69, I attempted to book a table but was informed by the staff member that they no longer collaborate with Groupon and refused to honor the booking. I recently received a mattress ordered from Groupon, but upon opening it on 5th August, it was not what I expected. I immediately requested a refund and pickup. Despite providing dates for collection as requested, I have not received any further instructions. My dispute with PayPal was declined as they deemed the mattress to be "materially similar." I believe my rights have been overlooked, as Groupon and PayPal seem to be delaying the refund process. I have sent evidence of my efforts and misinformation from Groupon to PayPal. I recently tried to purchase two 3-day parking passes at Atlanta Airport for two upcoming trips. On the first trip last weekend, from Friday to Sunday, I arrived at Elite Parking at noon for my 3 PM flight, only to find out they had no available spots and did not seem to appreciate the Groupon discount. I had to park at "The Parking Spot" for $42.00 for just 2.5 days, almost causing me to miss my flight. I believed I was booking with "Peachy Parking" and now request a full refund. As a frequent flyer and attorney, this parking experience was the most disappointing I have faced in years. I purchased a Valvoline instant oil change voucher while in Longview, TX on August 17, [redacted]. Today, August 18, [redacted], I relocated to Rowlette, TX, but there are no Valvoline locations nearby that will honor the voucher. I exchanged it for Groupon bucks and attempted to purchase a different oil change voucher for a local place. However, the status is showing as pending, and I am uncertain about how and when I can use it. I urgently need an oil change and this situation is frustrating. If I had known about this delay, I would have made alternative arrangements. I am experiencing a serious issue with Professional Stylist Forum, the vendor from whom I purchased three Groupons. I am seeking a complete refund to the credit card I used for this transaction. Today, on August 19th, my appointment was cancelled by Professional Stylist Forum. However, they were unable to reschedule promptly. Upon explaining that I possessed three Groupons set to expire in January [redacted], I was informed that these vouchers were for new clients only, contradicting the information I had read prior to purchase. I encountered rudeness from Terry, the receptionist, during this interaction. The promotional details clearly stated that the Groupons had to be used by the same individual, without any mention of restrictions for existing clients. I am sharing excerpts from the purchase information. I am not interested in receiving a Groupon voucher; I am adamant about getting a full refund of $[redacted].20 back to my credit card.

I placed an order on 18/08 and realized that I couldn't use my £20.89 Groupon refund for my recent order and accidentally placed the order twice. I promptly contacted Groupon and am now waiting for my refund. I received an email yesterday from an agent asking if I wanted a replacement or refund, to which I replied I wanted a refund. Since then, my emails have been ignored. I'm requesting my refund for order #1[redacted]60-[redacted] totaling £47.94 and a £20.98 refund from a previous faulty order where items were missing and converted to Groupon Bucks. My spouse and I bought a Groupon for the Pictured Rock Adventures kayaking tour for two at $[redacted]. We traveled to Munising and stayed at a hotel to use our Groupon. Upon reaching Tanglewood Inn as instructed, we discovered that the owner of Pictured Rock Adventures had lost his license and wasn't running the kayak tour. The voucher is set to expire on 08/31/[redacted], and due to the workshop only being available on Thursdays, we are unable to redeem it. I am inquiring about an order I placed last year with a Groupon code VS-[redacted]-YW7K-SLLB-21BT for a SPA entry with treatments at The Sandpiper Health Club. Throughout last year, I received emails from The Sandpiper Health Club extending the offer due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In October, I was informed that the offer was transferred to another venue at Low Wood Resort because The Sandpiper had closed down. Despite sending multiple emails to Low Wood, I did not receive a response. When I called them, they apologized for the delay and explained that they were closed earlier in the year due to the pandemic. They suggested contacting Groupon as my voucher has expired. I purchased a British Cornershop Sweet Pack today on Groupon for £4.00. I was under the impression that the only additional cost would be £3.99 for postage and packaging. When I contacted the British Cornershop Company, I was informed that I had only bought a Groupon paper voucher and not the actual product. This was not clear to me when I made the purchase.
