I'm confused why FPL is billing me for new meters when I already have a smart meter. Hurricane Ian did not impact my area. I recently paid over $[redacted] for this month's bill and now my power is off. FPL should communicate better with customers before charging large amounts like this. I believe customers should be notified by phone when such charges are being imposed. It's frustrating that FPL has so much control over these situations.

Upon registration, I was notified of an outstanding balance unless I signed up for automatic bill pay. To ensure timely payments, I promptly enrolled in automatic bill pay. On June 22, [redacted], I made a payment of $[redacted] to clear the outstanding amount. Despite this payment, I received an email today stating that an additional $[redacted].95 is owed. Curiously, my FPL app shows no payment due, and the email mentions a late fee despite my previous payment being on time. I kindly seek your assistance in resolving this matter and providing clarification on the billing discrepancy. Your attention to this issue is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your understanding.

I live in Fort Lauderdale, FL, specifically in the Lauderdale Lakes area near 43rd Ave. on Oakland Park off of State Road 7. I want to report a man who is about 6'6 tall and drives what appears to be a white FPL truck resembling the size of a Dodge truck with license plate GEN [redacted]. He frequently parks for hours near the Preparation School, which is causing inconvenience for residents who need to access the area or dispose of their garbage. Despite no one working in the vicinity, he unloads what looks like street copper wire in large quantities. This has been an ongoing issue, and I felt it was important to bring attention to it.

I have two accounts, one under my personal number, [redacted], and one under my sister's number, [redacted]. My sister received a $[redacted] credit for bill assistance, and my account was not billed for 4 months due to maintenance work, resulting in a bill of $[redacted].01. Upon checking online, it appeared that my bill was paid using my sister's credit, which is concerning. I have been trying to contact FPL to resolve this issue to no avail. Despite receiving notices that my $[redacted] bill will be deducted from my automatic payment, it does not happen, and now I am facing a payment of $[redacted]. I am willing to pay the full $[redacted].01 bill, but I need assurance that my sister's account will not be incorrectly charged, as initially indicated.

I am concerned about the continuous increase in my electric bill each month. I have never had to pay $[redacted] for electricity before, and it has now gone up to $[redacted]. I have taken all possible measures to reduce it, such as keeping my AC at 78 degrees, using ceiling fans, not cooking much, and not having a dryer. Despite living in a small apartment, the bill keeps rising. It is unjust for people struggling financially like me. Paying $[redacted] for a small apartment is unreasonable. It is a burden on many residents in Florida. I feel helpless as more and more people are affected by these rising costs. Good morning, My name is Evelio Pardo Jr. I have resided at [redacted] SW 83 Ave, Miami, FL [redacted] since April [redacted]. The Homestead Exemption department mistakenly removed my tax protection. Miami-Dade County is asking for a letter from FPL, at my expense, to clarify the years and months I've had service at my residence. Although I provided bank statements, there isn't sufficient evidence to support my case. I am willing to pay for the service and would greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer. I believe there may be an issue with the electricity meter at my [redacted]' condo. Despite installing a new unit, my bill remains unusually high and has even increased. I am requesting that FPL replace the meter and secure it with a lock ring as I suspect there might be a mix-up. My neighbors with identical layouts have significantly lower bills than mine. Considering I set my air conditioning to 80 degrees during the day when I'm away and 76 degrees in the evening, it seems implausible that my bill amounts to $[redacted] monthly while they pay $60-$80. I suspect I am unknowingly covering someone else's electricity usage in a neighboring condo.

I am experiencing significant difficulties with your system. I set up auto-pay with my bank details, yet I am now receiving notices threatening to shut off my power due to non-payment. Additionally, when attempting to pay through speedpay online, I encountered more problems. After entering my account number and zip code, I was unable to proceed. The automated system for speedpay also failed to work as expected, leaving me frustrated. I have been waiting on hold for approximately 30 minutes, surprised by the lack of efficiency in the payment process. It seems FPL does not prioritize making payments convenient for customers, as evidenced by the numerous technical issues. I am appalled and considering ending my service with the company.
