I placed an order for an integrated washing machine that was scheduled for delivery, installation, and removal of my old unit on December 18th. Unfortunately, the new machine had a faulty door upon delivery, and although the installers noted it, they proceeded with the installation and mentioned that a replacement would be ordered. Since then, I have not received any updates, and the customer service chats have not been helpful. Currently, the door is still faulty, and I'm waiting for the replacement washing machine. I need assistance in getting this resolved as I am not making progress through the chat support. I cannot accept keeping a faulty machine without any communication regarding the replacement. I placed an order for a Sony Soundbar for click and collect at the Stafford store tonight. Despite the payment going through, I did not receive an acknowledgment, and the screen took me back to the Curry's page indicating an empty basket without an email confirmation. I attempted the purchase again and encountered the same issue before giving up. Around 2 hours later, I received two emails confirming the order of two soundbars, which I do not intend to purchase. I need assistance in canceling the order for the second soundbar. Thank you, Lester Davey.

Hello, I purchased a washer dryer online on December 27th, and it was delivered this morning with a dent at the bottom front. I have been trying to contact customer service for nearly 2 hours, speaking with two different staff members who kept passing me around. One staff member mentioned a discount for keeping the dented machine, but I insisted on an exchange. After being placed on hold, a third staff member asked for my order number and address, but couldn't assist further as I didn't know the email address used for the order. I was told to have my husband call back. The experience has been frustrating and unhelpful. I would like either a £75.00 discount or a replacement washer dryer. Additionally, I am willing to pay for installation if someone can assist with that. Thank you.

I purchased a Shark vacuum from Currys Branch [redacted] at Teeside Park on 29/12/20 (receipt [redacted]). The Shark representative stated we'd be contacted for collection on Thursday the 31st. During the sale, the Currys assistant mentioned delivery. It's now the 2nd of January, and I haven't heard anything from Currys. After discussing with a staff member, I was informed there were two in stock, but further calls revealed none were available, and due to COVID, the store is only open for click and collect. I was told a refund can only be processed online. As senior citizens without a hoover, I request a refund to purchase elsewhere. We've been loyal customers for over 40 years, buying various appliances from Currys, but this service has been disappointing. - M&S Sims

Dear Sir, I apologize for the quality of this message as I usually have someone writing for me. As a person with multiple disabilities and a life-shortening illness, I rely on my wife for care. However, she suffered a brain injury last year. Due to my condition, I can't walk, write, or perform daily tasks. Since March [redacted], due to Covid-19, I haven't been in contact with others. Unfortunately, my laptop got damaged during a seizure, and although we had a "know how" policy for accidents, I'm facing issues with the repair process. The policy doesn't seem to cover accidents related to disabilities, and I have faced mistreatment and lack of communication. I believe this situation involves discrimination, misunderstanding of disabilities, and safety concerns. I would appreciate it if a manager could contact my wife, Denise, to address the denial of the plan, treatment of disabled customers, refusal to repair under the policy, and Covid safety measures. Subject: Fitbit Sense Order Issue Location: Evesham, Worcestershire I placed an order for a Fitbit Sense on January 1st with store pickup on January 4th. Upon arriving at the store, I was told that there was an issue with my order, and it hadn't been delivered as expected. Thankfully, they had a Fitbit Sense in-store and offered it to me instead. A different sales assistant handled the transaction, canceling my online order. Since I had paid with Currys vouchers online, I couldn't pay for the in-store item using a card. After leaving the store confused about the refund process, I called customer service on January 5th. They assured me I would receive a refund within 72 hours of the order cancellation. However, when attempting to use my online vouchers, they still show zero credit, indicating I haven't been refunded even after 72 hours. I'm disappointed with the customer service I have received from Currys and the delay in processing my refund. Thank you, J.L.

Hi, I purchased a mobile on sale for $79.99, but then discovered my daughter bought the same one on eBay for her dad. I returned the one from Curry's to the store and had some issues with the return process. Although I've used PayPal for years without problems, they mentioned needing permission to process the return. After sending the item back, I didn't receive any confirmation. I contacted PayPal to query the situation and surprisingly the item arrived the next day. I filled out two return forms but haven't received any updates. Can anyone assist me with this issue? I recently noticed a £6.50 monthly charge on my bank statement to Curry’s. I was unaware of this ongoing payment. Upon contacting my bank, I learned this direct debit has been active since June 13, [redacted]. The Mandate ID is [redacted]3 and the Originator ID is [redacted] DSG. I bought a bundle from Currys in October [redacted] for my new kitchen extension, which was not built at the time. The items were installed in January [redacted]. In August [redacted], the dishwasher stopped working. I initially thought it was an electrical issue, given that the dishwasher was only 8 months old and used in a single-person household. Due to COVID-19 delays, my electrician inspected the installation last Friday and confirmed that the dishwasher is faulty, not a wiring problem. Unfortunately, the dishwasher is now out of warranty. What steps can I take next to address this issue?

My 17-year-old daughter ordered a gift card, but then she realized she didn't need it. She tried to cancel it online since the phone lines were not working. When she thought she wouldn't get a refund, she scratched the card. However, she later received an email over the weekend saying they would arrange a collection and refund. Now she doesn't need that. Despite multiple attempts to contact them via phone and web chat to explain she needs to cancel the cancellation, the operators were not understanding her situation. This has caused her a lot of stress, and she shared the details with me. I've been attempting to resolve the issue since but haven't been able to reach anyone. The email mentioned arranging a DPD collection, which we can't accommodate right now as we're waiting for coronavirus test results and need to isolate. I made an online purchase but received an email stating the item was no longer available for delivery, despite earlier confirmation. I bought a 58-inch Samsung TV from Currys PC World through VIVUP due to working at a hospital. I contacted Currys PC World customer service about a problem (TV turning on/off intermittently). They advised me to reach out to Samsung. After a lengthy call with a non-UK representative, despite trying basic troubleshooting like unplugging, I was told to repeat steps on the phone and was informed there might be a fault. This TV was purchased from Currys PC World, not Samsung. The phone representative mentioned potential charges if no fault is found. Now I need to take a picture of the TV and email it. I simply want Currys PC World to fix or replace the faulty TV.

I purchased a keyword mixer from Currys, but it was missing 2 parts. When I tried to return it, the store was out of stock, so I upgraded to a more expensive one for a total of £[redacted]. Unfortunately, the grater holder on the new mixer broke after one use. My husband attempted to return it in Fareham but was turned away by a staff member, citing closure except for online orders. I also bought a Teflon 6-in-1 cooker for my daughter's Christmas present, which also had missing pieces. Due to being on the Extremely Vulnerable list, I am unable to easily return the items and have spent a total of £[redacted] at Currys. I have been unsuccessful in reaching customer service by phone. The nearest store is 16.5 miles away, requiring a costly taxi ride, which I cannot afford. I purchased a Hoover washing machine from you on 7th November [redacted], which was installed on 12th November [redacted] (Order: CUR[redacted]). Since then, the machine has been making strange noises. A Hoover engineer visited on 16th January [redacted] and advised me to request an exchange from Curry's due to its young age. I contacted Curry's multiple times, but they require an authorization number which Hoover has not provided. Despite spending a significant amount on this faulty product, the customer service has been disappointing. I reluctantly agreed to a repair after a lengthy phone call, feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. A washing machine that is only two months old should not require extensive repairs, and a reputable company like Curry's should offer better customer support. I am deeply unhappy with this experience and will not consider buying from or recommending Curry's in the future.
