I recently discovered my card was closed with a zero balance without receiving any prior notice. While you claim notification was sent, I did not receive it, resulting in a negative impact on my credit score. It is disheartening that a company aiming to assist with credit building would handle this situation in such a manner. If I had been paying an annual fee, would my card have been closed without warning? It appears that once I could no longer accumulate debt, I was deemed expendable. Moving forward, I plan to caution others about engaging with Capital One, both here and on social media. My hope is to prevent others from facing a similar predicament. Requiring me to apply for a new card, which would further lower my credit score and involve an annual fee, is not a satisfactory solution. I adamantly seek the restoration of the 17 points deducted from my credit score due to this incident. The sole outcome I desire is a return of my credit score, rather than obtaining another credit card from Capital One.

Regarding Case # [redacted][redacted], I opened this case on February 17 with a Capitol One representative referred to as NQR [redacted]. The issue revolves around a cancelled flight charged by Expedia for a Lufthansa flight booked under confirmation number 2478cg and flight itinerary number [redacted]65 for a flight scheduled on February 14. The flight was cancelled on January 28, within the timeframe advertised as cancellable within 24 hours of departure. However, there was confusion as to the nature of the refund, as one item was refunded while the flight charge of $[redacted].00 USD was credited instead of refunded. Despite efforts to clarify with Expedia, the issue remains unresolved, leading to a charge on my account that I am disputing. I have reached out to customer service without success, and I am unwilling to pay the charge unless a resolution is found. I urge for cooperation in rectifying this matter with Expedia to avoid further escalation.

I am currently in the Philippines and struggling to log in to my account to make a payment. Despite informing the agent before my trip, my sign-in process is now complicated as I do not have access to my U.S. phone for receiving security codes. I specifically requested to change my contact method to email for this reason. Unfortunately, the system is still trying to send verification codes to my U.S. phone, leaving me locked out. I need assistance resolving this issue from someone who understands my situation and can help me without relying on U.S.-based phone numbers. I am unable to use or receive calls on my U.S. phone while in the Philippines. My only means of communication is through my Philippine phone number with Smart carrier or via email.

Yesterday, I received my Capital One Menards store card, one for myself and an authorized one for my son. I used the Capital One app to activate both cards, but when my son tried to use his, it got declined at Menards. He had to leave the items there. When we checked the app again, it showed $0 available and the account restricted. We prefer communication through email, writing, or chat due to our frequent travel. Any guidance is appreciated. I recently applied for a Capital One Venture X card because I've had positive experiences with Capital One in the past, and I was looking for a good travel credit card. Despite having a good credit score and managing my finances responsibly, my application was declined due to having too many revolving credit lines. I rarely use these accounts and always pay my bills on time. With an increased income, I was excited about the benefits of the Venture X card, including the virtual card option. I recently received an upgraded Capital One card and tried to activate it but was prompted to call for verification. As a legally deaf individual, I encountered no issues with Capital One previously. Despite trying through the webpage and Android app while logged in without problems, the activation process requests a verification call. I attempted multiple times through various online methods to activate the new card without success. My phone number is linked to a free texting app I've used for years, and I do not have traditional carriers like Verizon or Sprint. I even tried to call using the free texting app number to no avail. I have successfully activated two cards from Capital One before, but I am currently struggling with replacing an old card with this new upgraded version.

I received a letter in the mail offering a Capital One Platinum Mastercard, but when I tried to apply using the reservation number and access code provided, it's not going through. I'm uncertain why this issue is occurring. I am eager to start using the card and willing to make monthly payments of $[redacted] if I receive a credit line. I had a negative experience with Capital One, finding their staff rude and unhelpful. I closed my account in August and received confirmation, but I'm unsure about the status of my funds. I recently applied for the Capital One Venture X card and unfortunately got denied. My girlfriend and I are planning to switch all our banking to Capital One due to their great products. I usually have positive interactions with Capital One's staff through my job. After calling for reconsideration, they reevaluated my application with the same information via an automated system, leading to another denial. This was disappointing since we were looking forward to consolidating our banking with them. I was told I could provide more information for the reconsideration, but it seemed to have been overlooked. This experience was not in line with the usual great service Capital One offers. Despite this setback, I hope to eventually get approval for the Venture X card with a human reviewer.

I had a challenging time purchasing sports tickets for my anniversary through Capital One and Vivid Seats. Despite trying to take advantage of a Cardmember Exclusive event with MLB tickets, I faced a series of issues from not being able to purchase directly through Capital One to struggling with multiple failed attempts with Vivid Seats, only to have my order canceled and repurchased at a higher price. The entire ordeal led to a stressful and disappointing experience, resulting in a ruined anniversary. The back and forth between the companies' customer service teams and the problems faced during the ticket purchase process left me frustrated. I have decided not to use Capital One or Vivid Seats for future ticket purchases and will look towards other options like Chase or Bank of America. This morning, I discovered that my account was hacked. I immediately contacted Capital One and have been in contact with Jason White since 10:30 am to halt any unauthorized charges on my card. Jason informed me that a $[redacted] charge was made at 4:30 am today. Despite my denial of this transaction, he instructed me to buy $[redacted] in gift cards to reverse the charge. I find this request confusing and suspect foul play. I am unsure of the correct course of action in this situation.

I set up an automatic payment for my auto loan on August 5th, even though my bill is not due until August 10th. The $[redacted] payment was deducted as planned, but I am now being told that I still owe money, even though I paid more than the $[redacted] required. I have cleared the balance on my account. After receiving the confirmation that the payment went through and my balance is zero, I was surprised to find out that I have to wait until the 31st for the credit to be available. With an impending hurricane approaching this Wednesday, I urgently need the credit card to purchase essential supplies. I normally set it to be automatically paid in full each month. I have been declined three times already and I cannot figure out why. Can you please assist me with this issue? I spoke with a representative over a month ago when I made a payoff request and asked for my card to be frozen. Unfortunately, it seems that there was interest not included in the payoff amount, and my card was never frozen as requested. As a result, there have been unauthorized charges/fraudulent activity on my account. I need to settle the previous interest, dispute the unauthorized charges, and receive confirmation that my card is now frozen. I have a negative balance and I am looking to pay it off in installments over the next month. My card number ends in [redacted]. On my Capital One account, there is a message that mentions "valley," and despite calling them for three days, I have not received a response. I have tried various numbers for Capital One, but each time it ends the call abruptly. I am seeking help in contacting the appropriate person to address this issue.
