Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to express my astonishment and dissatisfaction with the sudden and unexplained deletion of my card. I have been a customer at your bank for about two months, and everything was going well; I was satisfied with your services. Therefore, I prefer to use your card to make purchases and earn points. Today, I called customer service because I paid my last month's bill with a transfer, but you still overdrew my account. I wanted to understand how this happened. To my surprise, your colleague informed me that you deleted my card without reason. I would like to know why this happened and if there is anything we can do to resolve this situation. I bought an American Express Serve card, a reloadable prepaid card, from my local WalMart. The package stated no activation was needed, so I loaded $[redacted] on it and left. Upon attempting to activate it, I couldn't get past the first step of creating a username and password. The system kept informing me that they were incorrect, despite meeting all requirements. After multiple failed attempts, I took the card to an ATM, assuming it could be used without activation. The card was not recognized at any ATM, even though they accepted Serve cards. Upon returning home, I tried to activate it again with no success. I've attempted to contact customer support with no luck. Currently, I am going to try the phone number suggested by GetHuman. If I have any success, I'll update this page.

Moreover, the room's amenities were outdated and malfunctioning, hindering my ability to unwind during my stay. The unprofessional and unresponsive behavior of the hotel staff when I sought help exacerbated my negative experience. Despite bringing these issues to the attention of the front desk, there was no satisfactory resolution, leaving me feeling neglected. In conclusion, my time at the Residence Inn by Marriott Tampa Downtown fell short of expectations, and I believe I deserve adequate compensation for the substandard conditions I encountered. My Amex cards were compromised, so I have shredded them. I have new ones on the way and have closed my bank account for auto payments. I do not have my new bank account details yet, but my Social Security comes in around the 3rd of the month. I will update AmEx with my new account information once I have it. Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to seek your help regarding an issue with the American Express Fine Hotels + Resorts program. Due to errors in the Amex Travel team's system, three prepaid hotel bookings I made in late [redacted] for stays in March and July [redacted] were canceled, leading to the loss of $[redacted] in statement credits ($[redacted] per booking). Using three American Express Platinum cards under the name Yu Kuang, with card numbers ending in [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted], I made these bookings. Despite utilizing the hotel collection benefit, I received cancellations for trips to Singapore and Houston with Trip ID# 5[redacted], 4[redacted], 4[redacted]. I am seeking assistance regarding an issue with using multiple gift cards at an establishment in Broomfield, Colorado. The gift cards, totaling $2,[redacted], were declined for security reasons despite the merchant accepting American Express. After unsuccessful attempts to resolve the matter with customer service, including two hang-ups, I am now awaiting a supervisor. An agent mentioned that using the cards at a different merchant would be safer, which I find illogical as it poses the same risk. I urge the Department to enable the cards to be used at any American Express-accepting merchant. I hold an American Express Credit Card and may cancel it if this problem persists. I received a $[redacted] gift card for my birthday, but I'm having trouble using it on Etsy or Amazon. Every time I attempt a purchase, the card gets declined. I've tried contacting American Express to check my balance and activate the card, but there seems to be an issue that requires me to call their support line. I'm hesitant to make the call due to my insecurity as a teen. My parents believe I should take the initiative and have made it clear they won't assist until I reach out for support first. I feel anxious about calling and since my friends are unavailable during the summer, I'm unsure how to proceed. It seems my parents may have also informed my relatives about the situation.

I have noticed that my card has been showing pending transactions without deducting the actual charges from my account, despite having enough funds. For instance, a $50 purchase on July 25, [redacted], was pending but ultimately declined. My balance as of August 1, [redacted], is $52.56. I would appreciate it if the pending transactions could be investigated, and if valid, charged accurately to reflect the purchase amounts. I set up a Poshmark account, and a buyer wanted to purchase my shoes through her son. When I messaged him, he mentioned payment issues and directed me to pay $[redacted]/$[redacted] American gift card to activate my account. After paying, they requested an extra $1,[redacted] for my account limit to be extended. They claim it's needed to release funds on hold for a $[redacted] payment. I now see that this is a scam. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hello! My name is Ginger Mendes. I have been trying to contact someone to help with my situation, but I have received very little assistance and am quite upset. I recently purchased an American Express gift card for my nephew's birthday. Unfortunately, when he tried to make a purchase using the card, he was disappointed as the funds were not available. I bought the card from Walgreens for $[redacted], expecting a $[redacted] balance, but the funds mysteriously did not appear on the card. Despite returning to Walgreens where they confirmed the purchase, they were unable to help further. I contacted American Express at the number on the card, but the representative only instructed me to email pictures of the receipt and gift card. I was given a case number, but no further assistance has been provided. This situation has been upsetting and embarrassing. I hope to hear from someone soon regarding case number [redacted]0. I encountered an issue with Amex regarding their insurance policy. I made a hotel booking, but had to cancel due to a friend's passing. My friend lived within a reasonable 3-hour drive, yet Amex's insurance clause only covers flights to the destination. Despite reaching out for help, Amex did not offer any resolution. I filed an insurance claim as suggested, only to discover the limitations. I am disappointed to be out of $[redacted] and missed the chance to pay respects to my friend due to Amex's lack of flexibility.
