Booking ID: 3[redacted]8 for $[redacted].50. I recently had to cancel my booking due to the coronavirus situation and the threat of quarantine during my trip. Despite the extenuating circumstances, I was not offered a refund because I didn't have cancellation insurance. I had just discovered information about a full refund policy prior to occupancy which would have influenced my decision to book. I saw an advertisement for discounted prices at Odalys City Park today. Given the unusual circumstances around the world and the advertisement promising a total refund, I believe it is fair to request the refund. I hope you would consider this request and credit the above amount back to me.

Dear Agoda Customer Service, I made a booking for accommodations in South Africa from April 10-17, [redacted] on December 27, [redacted]. My booking number is [redacted]64. The purpose of this booking was to attend an academic conference. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 crisis, all travel from Macao SAR China (where I reside) has been suspended through April. As a result, I am unable to attend the conference and would like to request force majeure consideration for a refund of my booking. This is my first time booking with Agoda, recommended by a colleague. I hope for the opportunity to travel with Agoda in the future. As an academic in Tourism and Hospitality who frequently travels, I am hopeful for a positive and compassionate response to my refund request.

Hello Agoda Customer Service, I made a reservation at Hotel Fun in Taiwan on January 28, intending to keep it. After the COVID-19 outbreak and travel restrictions, I reached out to the hotel via the Agoda app to cancel, and they instructed me to contact customer service for a refund. As the situation in the Philippines worsened, with cases rising to 24 and my city being impacted, I fear for our safety and the potential risks of traveling. I urge you to consider the circumstances surrounding this pandemic and the unforeseen lockdown in Metro Manila. Given these events, I kindly ask for your understanding and assistance in processing a full refund for my booking. Please review my reservation under Booking ID [redacted]60 and address my refund request promptly. Thank you for your attention. Best regards, Marilyn A. R.

I had made a reservation for 2 rooms at Park Regis in Singapore through Agoda with Booking ID[redacted]57. According to Agoda's website, the payment was not due until late May and there was no penalty for cancellation until 10 May. However, on 22/02/[redacted], my Amex card was charged $1241AUD without authorization or notification from Agoda. Due to current travel restrictions imposed by the Australian and UK governments until at least September [redacted], our planned trip is impossible. We are requesting a full refund and have consulted with a Singapore-based solicitor who has assured us of a successful outcome if necessary legal action is taken. Agoda, we expect a full refund promptly or be prepared for legal proceedings.

I made a hotel reservation through Agoda for my upcoming trip to Amsterdam with my mother (in her 70s) and my toddler (2 years old) back in February before the coronavirus outbreak. With the virus escalating, especially in Europe, I no longer feel safe traveling with my family. I tried to cancel the reservation online, but it wasn't possible. I reached out to Agoda's customer service via their app last week to request a cancellation and refund due to the unforeseen circumstances. Unfortunately, I haven't received any response yet. Given the current situation, I hope to either get a refund or reschedule the booking as traveling to Europe with vulnerable family members is too risky. The details of my booking are as follows: Booking number: [redacted] Hotel: ibis Amsterdam Airport Check-in: 31 March [redacted] Check-out: 3 March [redacted] Duration: 3 nights

In late January, I made a reservation for two nights at Odlays City Park in Montmartre, Paris through Agoda for April 28th and 29th, [redacted]. I was charged $[redacted].50 for the booking to accommodate a friend arriving from Australia. Sadly, my travel plans for the month of April to Europe had to be canceled due to concerns about the potential quarantine measures related to the Coronavirus outbreak. I have managed to cancel other bookings with no issues, except for Odlays, who stated that I would not be eligible for a refund. Agoda's cancellation policy states that refunds are possible for cancellations made well in advance, and given the current global situation with the Coronavirus, including travel advisories and a pandemic declaration by the WHO, I believe a refund of $[redacted].50 to my Bank of Montreal credit card would be justified. I appreciate your attention to this matter. - EP Dobie

I am having difficulty reaching you at the provided numbers. I require a tax receipt for my booking [redacted] at Milano Apts in Melbourne through Booking.com. The booking confirmation indicated a payment of $[redacted], but my corporate card statement shows $[redacted].02. I need a receipt reflecting the higher amount for accounting purposes. Despite emailing from the same address used for booking, I received a response from Agoda stating a mismatch with the booking email. They advised reaching out from the registered email or calling for further help. I have attempted to call with no success. Can you please assist me with obtaining the correct receipt? Thank you.

Hello, I have a reservation for the Promenade Service Apartment in Kota Kinabalu from April 7th to 11th. The total payment of Php [redacted].30 has already been debited from my account. Regrettably, there is no refund policy in place. Due to the COVID-19 situation, there have been flight cancellations causing concern. The rising number of cases in the Philippines, with forecasts predicting a peak in April and possible flight disruptions to Malaysia, has led me to reconsider my travel plans. I am kindly requesting a refund considering the global impact of this situation and the decreasing flight options from the Philippines. I have been a loyal, VIP client and I hope for a positive response regarding this matter. Thank you.

Hello Team, Due to the recent Corona Virus outbreak, I would like to cancel the bookings I made for a stay at Summer Island Resort from April 9th to April 12th. Even though my booking is non-refundable, I contacted the resort directly and they provided the following information: "Dear Gourav, Thank you for reaching out to us. Currently, we are permitting customers to cancel or refund their bookings without any additional charges. If you want to cancel, please contact Agoda directly, and we will waive the cancellation fees." Given the current situation, with the Government of India restricting all travels until April 15th, which makes my trip impossible, I am hopeful to receive a full refund, especially since the hotel is allowing cancellations without charges. Thank you.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to address an issue I encountered with a travel agency. We made reservations through the agoda.com app for Bantayan Huts on March 16-17 and Express Inn Cebu Mabolo on March 17-18 under the name Donna May Siago. Despite receiving a booking confirmation and payment debited on March 7, the hotels have no record of our reservations. I urgently seek assistance as our flight is on Monday, and having no room secured would be disastrous. I am distressed by this situation. Please address this promptly and contact me by tomorrow. I look forward to a swift resolution without requesting additional payment. I plan to file a complaint if necessary. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Yours faithfully,

Hello, I'm seeking assistance regarding a recent plane ticket booking I made. I purchased a ticket online from Macau to Thailand for my brother, Jun Mark Armor to Madaup. Following the online payment with my card, I did not save the reference number provided by Priceline. Oddly, they did not ask for my email address, only my name and mobile number. The ticket price was [redacted] AUD. Despite completing the payment, I have not received the itinerary from Priceline. To my surprise, I discovered deductions of [redacted].90 AUD from Agoda.com in my bank account, in addition to the [redacted] AUD for the plane ticket. I suspect this situation might be fraudulent. I am concerned and hopeful for a prompt resolution. Thank you.

We look forward to rescheduling our visit via Agoda once the COVID-19 situation improves.

Hello Team, I am reaching out regarding my upcoming stay at Summer Island Resort from April 9th to 12th. Due to the current Corona Virus outbreak, I have decided to cancel both of my bookings. Although I originally booked a non-refundable reservation, I contacted the resort directly, and they have kindly informed me that they are allowing cancellations without incurring any additional charges. The resort mentioned, "Dear Gourav, Thank you for your email. At this stage we are allowing customers to cancel/refund the booking without any additional charges. If you wish to cancel your booking, kindly contact Agoda directly, and we will waive off the cancellation charges." Considering the circumstances such as the current travel restrictions imposed by the Government of India until April 15th, which make my travel plans impossible, I am hopeful for a full refund as per the resort's policy. Thank you.

I made a reservation at Canyon Cove Hotel for March 13-15. I am in Metro Manila, where the government declared a sudden lockdown due to COVID-19. Can I cancel and get a full refund, considering this force majeure situation? The lockdown prevents any movement in or out of the city, making it impossible for us to travel. I reached out to the hotel and Agoda through Facebook but haven't heard back yet. My Booking ID is #[redacted]57. Thank you for your help.

Booking ID [redacted]89: I recently made a reservation at the Akmani Legian Hotel in Bali, Indonesia through Agoda for the dates 16/03/[redacted] - 26/03/[redacted]. This morning, following my Prime Minister's advice for Australians to cancel overseas travel due to the Coronavirus pandemic and my company's prohibition on work-related trips abroad, I find myself compelled to cancel my stay. I kindly request a refund for the amount of AUD $[redacted].70 paid. Given the seriousness of the global crisis caused by the Coronavirus and its impact on people's lives, I trust Agoda, known for its exceptional customer service, will assist me during this challenging period.
