I bought eight can packages of "Chicken of the Sea Solid White Tuna." After consuming one can, I noticed that the color, smell, and texture were off compared to what I usually expect from this product. When I checked the expiration date, it seemed illegible, either showing -- or --. I no longer have the receipt, but I have the item number #. I am worried that I might have been eating expired tuna, which is concerning to me.

I visited Costco today as a customer of over 12 years. When I tried to use my EBT card, I was unexpectedly denied. The way my mother-in-law and I were treated by the cashier, David, was disappointing and unpleasant. He even suggested that my mother-in-law pay for my items. His attitude drastically changed upon seeing my EBT card. Are people with food stamps going to be treated like this from now on? This incident occurred on April 15th, [redacted], around 4:30 p.m. at the store located at [redacted] 120th Ave. N.E., Kirkland, WA. I am a senior citizen, not a beggar, and this treatment was unacceptable. I hope for a prompt response regarding this matter. I will inform my friends about this experience. Subject: Order Concern #[redacted] Regarding my recent order, I had purchased 4 bottles of Seba Med face wash, but upon delivery, I found the package wet and leaking liquid soap. Naturally, I refused the delivery. The following day, I received a package from Costco containing the remaining three bottles of Seba Med. These bottles were clearly from the original damaged box as they were covered in the leaked soap and wrapped excessively in plastic. It is quite concerning that someone at the warehouse would repack the undamaged bottles from the damaged package and ship them back to me in such a state. This situation is unacceptable on multiple levels - sending back merchandise in poor condition, delivering an incomplete order, and consuming my time with a lengthy phone call to rectify the error.

I purchased two pairs of eyeglasses from Costco and one of them broke unexpectedly after less than a year of use. I believe it was due to a manufacturing defect as I did not mishandle the glasses. Costco informed me they do not cover frames under warranty. I insisted on speaking with a manager, but they were not available. Eventually, they found a replacement frame at another store, but I would still have to pay for it. The associate called to inform me the replacement frame had been sold, leaving me with no resolution. I am disappointed with the outcome as I feel I should not be held responsible for a defective product. I will be returning to the store to pick up my broken glasses and hope this issue can be resolved satisfactorily without me incurring additional costs.

As a retired correctional officer in California, and my wife, also a former corrections employee and now a state employee, we used to enjoy shopping at your store, despite the 70-mile round trip. However, we now visit very rarely and spend minimal money. The environment has changed, and it feels like any typical discount store with individuals who may not speak English and leave trash, including dirty diapers. We have observed ex-inmates who have been released from prison, which can be unsettling for shoppers concerned for their safety. While we understand your focus on profit, we yearn for the days of shopping in a cleaner and safer environment.

I visited the prescription lens division at Costco Gardens Park Blvd in Orlando, Florida on May 5, [redacted] at 2:30 pm. During my visit, Yessi assisted me. Unfortunately, I felt that she was in a hurry and didn't provide the level of customer service I expected. She didn't greet us with a smile and seemed impatient when discussing my prescription with me. I asked for clarification on the changes in my prescription, but her responses were short and not very helpful. I even felt a bit rushed and irritated by her attitude. As a customer, I believe it's important to receive clear explanations and polite service. I hope that in the future, the staff can be more empathetic and take the time to ensure customers feel valued and understood. I would appreciate an apology and improved service when I return for my lens pick up.

Lately, the Costco Gas station in Lodi, CA has been visited by a local gardening company in the mornings. I typically arrive around 7 am to fuel up for my commute, but with the gardening company's vehicles taking up all the pumps, it's impossible for anyone else to get gas. I didn't realize Costco offered corporate accounts for a fleet of vehicles. I joined Costco primarily for their fuel, opting for it over Amazon Prime or Boxed.com. However, with the current situation, I might not renew my membership. The last two weeks, I've had to leave immediately upon arrival due to all pumps being occupied, along with 8-10 other cars seeking gas elsewhere.

Lately, the produce I've been getting from you is increasingly moldy. In the past two months, I have bought "on the vine tomatoes" that had mold on the backside and moldy bread and bagels on separate occasions. Baby Bella mushrooms purchased the same day were slimy and rotten, except for the top layer. Also, the "fresh" ocean-caught salmon smelled so bad when we opened it that we had to use room deodorizer in the kitchen. It's frustrating to have to drive 16 miles back to return these products, so we ended up just throwing them away. All of these issues happened on the day of purchase. If this poor quality control continues, I may have to cancel my long-standing membership.

As a snowbird, I purchased a hearing aid in Florida on 4/10/18. After facing difficulties with it in New Jersey, I sought help at the Wayne Costco Hearing Aid center but received inadequate service. I struggled with repeated issues and inconvenient solutions, such as having to travel long distances for assistance. Upon realizing I needed a refund, the process became even more frustrating due to lack of knowledge and unnecessary delays at the Wayne location. Thankfully, the Clifton Costco was able to efficiently process my refund, highlighting the stark difference in service quality between the two locations. My experience underscores the importance of individualized care and proper adjustments for hearing aids, which I ultimately received at a different center.

I need assistance with a recent in-store purchase at Costco. I purchased a Cascade Tower Fan on 5/30, and initially, it worked well. However, a few days later, it started making a whistling noise at regular intervals, which is quite bothersome. I contacted the store's customer service number but couldn't reach anyone to discuss this issue. I discarded the box after the purchase, so I am unsure if I can still return the fan without it. I am aware of Costco's excellent return policy and hope that I can bring back the fan without the packaging. Thank you for your help.

After a recent shopping trip, I decided to treat myself to a chocolate frozen soft serve yogurt at the Costco in Seattle, Washington on Costco Drive in Tukwila. Much to my disappointment, they informed me that they had discontinued serving chocolate and only had vanilla and raspberry available. Feeling devastated by the loss of my favorite chocolate option, I attempted to order a Polish dog and a $1.50 drink, only to be told they no longer sold Polish dogs. I urge Costco to reconsider their choices and bring back the beloved chocolate frozen yogurt or introduce a new flavor. The customer service experience left me frustrated, as I believe the chocolate frozen soft serve yogurt was a highlight. I hope Costco will listen to feedback and improve their offerings soon. I have some concerns about recent changes at Costco that I'd like to share. In the past, we enjoyed items like razor clams and T-Bone steaks, which have not been available lately. The alterations to the food court have been disappointing to many of us, with the removal of polish dogs, chocolate ice cream, and very berry sundaes. While change is not always a problem, the new menu has led to a lot of complaints in line, slowing down the service. The new ice cream with fresh berries might not appeal to everyone, especially those looking for a more affordable treat for their family. While I understand the need for price adjustments, keeping some popular options like the very berry sundae would be appreciated. I recently bought a Lenovo laptop with high specs. After encountering memory issues, I contacted customer service without a solution. Costco and Windows couldn't help, and Lenovo required an additional fee for software support. Eventually, a manager helped me reallocate memory. I discovered the same laptop was cheaper in-store and asked for a price match, which was denied. I considered returning the laptop but found the process inconvenient. We own a vacation home in San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico, and are looking into buying a washing machine from the nearest Costco in Mexicali. We are wondering if the washing machine can be delivered and installed at our house in San Felipe. Even after contacting your credit card company, the issue seemed to stem from Costco. On Saturday, July 21st, I purchased two 10-lb. bags of organic carrots at Costco. I noticed a $1.00 price drop compared to my previous purchase, so I trusted their quality as I've always been satisfied. However, when I opened the bag at home, I found many rotting carrots with a strong odor. Costco promptly refunded me on Monday. I was alarmed to see such poor quality being sold. This incident raises concerns about food safety and trust in the products. While the issue was resolved, it's important to ensure customers receive fresh produce. Despite the price change, selling rotten food is unacceptable. I wish I could share photos of the carrots. This might have been an isolated case at the St. George, Utah store. Hopefully, this feedback reaches the right people who can address the issue. I appreciate Costco's usual quality and hope this can be improved moving forward.

Hello, I work at Costco store [redacted] in Tucson, Arizona. I am concerned about the absence of a recycling program in our store and other Costcos worldwide. Having recycling bins next to the regular trash cans could make a significant impact in reducing plastic waste that ends up in the ocean. I strongly believe that if Costco implements a recycling program, it could influence other major corporations to do the same. Preserving the ocean is crucial, and I am passionate about ensuring it does not become filled with harmful trash. It would be wonderful for Costco to prioritize reducing its carbon footprint and becoming more environmentally friendly for the benefit of future generations. I've noticed a decline in the cashier service at your Mount Laurel, NJ store recently. As a retail worker myself, I know the importance of good customer service. Tonight, on 8/8/[redacted] at 7:45pm, I experienced poor service at Ann's register. Ann, an older woman in her late 50s or early 60s, was too engrossed in a personal conversation with a fellow coworker to greet any customers, including me. This conversation caused delays and left me feeling unacknowledged as a customer. It was evident that Ann may be a problematic employee based on her behavior during my transaction. Cashiers play a crucial role in shaping a customer's experience, and I hope this issue is addressed promptly by the store management team.

Yesterday, 8/12, I visited the new Costco in Mt. Pleasant, SC, on my way to Pawleys Island. My total was $[redacted].42, including tax. Upon checking my receipt at home, I noticed that instant discounts were applied to regular prices, resulting in overcharges. For example, a Pyrex glass set priced at $12 was charged at $17.99, a toothbrush marked at $8.99 was rung up as $13.99, and Olay facial cream listed at $27.99 was scanned at $37.99. The total overcharge was over $20. I am disappointed that the store's computer systems did not reflect the advertised specials accurately. Can I receive a refund for these discrepancies?
