I purchased a tablet on May *, **** at your Best Buy ***** location in La Mesa, CA. I was hesitant about purchasing the tablet because I needed to use it to conduct business, but because the salesman assured me that I could return the tablet if I was not happy with it within ** days I decided to purchase it anyway. When I tried to return the tablet today there customer service person was more than willing to accept the return because she thought that I was exchanging it for something else, but when I told her that I didn't want anything else she then told me that she could not accept the return because the tablet was not in new condition. I used the tablet maybe * or * times within the time that I had it and less than a total of ** hours. There were no marks on it the plastic covering was still in-tact until the customer service young lady pulled it off. I would have returned the tablet sooner but I could not find my receipt until today. I think that if the sales associate and the receipt both say that I have ** days to return the merchandise then the company should honor its word instead of trying to force me to purchase something else in exchange for something I don't want. I was not told that I could not get my money back. Could someone please help me in this situation as I do not wish to be stuck with a tablet that can not perform the task that I need it to perform.
