On morning of Jan **, **** my dog locked himself in our car while parked at Dog Beach in Bonita Springs, Florida. The temperature was ** degrees F. I used SIRI on my wife's iPhone to contact AAA. I explained the emergency situation to the AAA agent who answered the phone. The AAA agent transferred my call to an AAA automated phone system. After several minutes on "hold" a recording on the AAA automated system offered a "call back" if I left my name and number. I did so and waited for a "call back" that never came!**Over the next **-** minutes I called a locksmith, *** and Acura Roadside service in an attempt to get someone to open the vehicle before my dog would die from heat stroke. I called AAA a second time and explained the emergency again. The AAA agent I spoke to transferred me to an automated system again! **Finally, I called *** again to request Police assistance. The Police came and called the Fire Dept. Since my dog had been in the vehicle for almost an hour finally had to break the car window to save my dogs life. The cost to replace the broken window was $***.**.**I was very clear regarding the urgency of the situation during my two telephone calls to AAA. Since AAA failed to respond to my urgent requests for service - I expect AAA to reimburse the $***.** it cost to replace the broken window in my vehicle. The broken window was a direct result of AAA's failure to respond to a life & death situation.**I can be reached at: *****@***.com
